I always thought that Diana would put everything on Dru and it would fuel Dru vs Cane. Past this point Diana dies Cane would kill Dru and Cane outsmarts Monet and set her up to go to prison only for Cane to be the soul leader of the Tejada Organization

Well not anymore. Ev left him for the draft to go to Oklahoma if I’m not mistaken. And he moved on. Dru finished Gordo after he found out about Monet and him being in on Lorenzo’s death. What time for love would he have? Now I’m not saying he WILL take the spot. But Lorenzo wanted him over Cane to run it. If anything they’d fight over something else and last one standing gets the organization.
