Jacarou- seriously so lovely- loads of shine and glare but they are SO well thought out and stunning they put their self together!
I may have to angle my camera differently to avoid a lot of glare and shine. I really wish puzzle brands would know by now to use a matt finish. I can’t wait to build it though.
I can never pass up a great puzzle haul, even if I am behind!
They sure are fun! I'm hoping to have a big clear out this weekend. Going to a market and selling puzzles cheap. I need to make room for more.

What a nice haul! I really like all those little puzzles. I have quite a few wooden puzzles and I just love the feel of them, the whimsy pieces, how satisfying it is to put them into place!
I'll keep my fingers crossed that you stumble across a Tenyo puzzle. I love their snap too!
I think I might have to dig deep into my pockets and spend the money if I ever want to get a Tenyo one...hopefully one day soon! But then again, I'd feel like I'd be cheating on Pintoo!

what a cool haul! i especially love the magnolia with the houses and also the tree house, and the esperanto puzzle. interesting that you can get your own lego figure, i didn’t know that was a thing!
i will watch your previous live streams as well as your upcoming ones you post. i prefer to watch things like that while i puzzle but i have been so busy with work the last couple weeks
The Lego minifig was such a great surprise. Hope you enjoy the livestreams - I try to be chatty so there are not long periods of silence. I'll be livestreaming again in Dec - will announce which weekend in a community post soon.
I'm in Australia and I recently bought the LaLaLand Festive Forest! I plan to do all my Christmas themed jigsaws in December.

I LOVE Thomas Kincaid as he is known as famous PAINTER OF LIGHT!!!!! SO SAD WHEN HE PASSED SO YOUNG.....I HAVE MANY OF HIS PUZZLES AS I CANT AFFORD HIS ACTUAL PAINTINGS!!!!!❤❤ YOU WILL LOVE IT......Pay attention to windows abd lights in his puzzles......❤

JaCaRou is my favorite puzzle brand. I especially love the ones with Anie Maltais artwork. Yes they are a little glossy, but the quality and piece fit is just perfect for me. The art is so fun and so colorful. I just love 🥰 them.
Great haul, so many anazing puzzles. So great that your puzzle friends were so nice to get you puzzles that are hard for you to get.

Ooooh, you got Ravensburger "Lost Places" puzzles! I love that series. I've only done one (spiral staircase) because they aren't available in the US, but I'd love to do more of them. They are indeed tricky!! Looking forward to seeing you do those!

I have done a couple Areaware puzzles and even the ones that were almost solid colors didn’t have false fits. They are very glossy but very fun.

I just might be tempted to mix the small puzzles together... I think that could be possible - but don't tell anyone just yet, I have a "non-mixing" reputation to uphold! hehehe
That da vinci puzzle looks SO difficult to me but I'm excited to hear more about it!
It does look really tricky - I think it'll take quite some time to do but I'm also really intrigued about the whole lawsuit. Can't wait to do the research for the voiceover.

Beautiful selection. I love the look of all Australian puzzle brands but unfortunately not available here in Greece and I have never seen any in the UK whenever I go back to visit family. I have several Thomas Kincade puzzles and really enjoy them but they aren't easy. Thank you for all your hard work in getting videos out. It's very much appreciated.

I was so excited when I found those Lost Places puzzles for just 10 AUD!!! They are just so creepy cool and intriguing. And yes, all of Max's art at Squidinky was so much fun! I can't wait to do the Squidney one.

I can't believe I got so many brands that I've been wanting to try out. I am very excited for the JaCaRou one also. The only brand I was really hoping to get while in Oz that I wasn't able to pick up was Reverie - there's always next year!
I have those three 99 piece Ravensburger puzzles and they’ve been great to practice different techniques on. I’ve done each of them probably a dozen times.
Oh nice! I can't wait to play around with them all. I never thought to use them for speed practice and technique style - good suggestion!
Nice haul, I liked your Jacarou puzzle a lot. I purchased 2 from that brand at puzzle warehouse. I am very excited to try it.
I was told that the older JaCaRou puzzle maybe had a loose fit but that the one I got it from their newer puzzles and they are much better - better cut quality and better fit. So that will be interesting to find out.
Also, have you seen the Educa 4000 Piece Constellations one? I bought that on Saturday too and put it on my pile of to do's. Looks like a very nice puzzle.

I really hope your Secret Santa puzzle turns out to be a Ravensburger Krypt, I'm sure you'd love it - once your brain stops exploding.😁 I thought long and hard about getting one myself and finally bit the bullet a couple of months ago. Since then I've bought 3 of them 🥰 I started with the Gradient, then got the Pink and now I have the Gold which I'm busy sorting . I love all those weirdly shaped pieces but I wouldn't want to speed run any of them.
I’ve done the Gradient, Pink, Silver and Gold Krypts so far and really enjoyed them Gradient was the easiest for me and I didn’t need to use the solution key. I don want to get all the others but don’t think I want to try to do it on a livestream. The shapes are so much fun!

Hi Donnalouise - glad you enjoyed your trip to Sydney and love the puzzle haul. Those little 99 piece ones look great. I also can't justify spending $60 or $70 for a 500 or 1000 piece puzzle no matter how much I may like the image. I went to the puzzle store at the markets here on the Gold Coast last Saturday and bought some 500 ones because he had them much cheaper than I had seen elsewhere. LOL between Saturday and Wednesday I did the Cloudberries Cascade and Whale 500 piece ones, the Educa 500 Piece Pebbles one and the Mudpuppy 500 piece Unicorn Reading one. They were fun but too quick for the money spent LOL. I had heard good things about Mudpuppy but I didn't particularly like it. The puzzle is lovely but the pieces are glossy and some were a bit bent to begin with but they still fit in okay. They tended to be tight fitting and hard to put in and very hard to take apart. It's one of those where you can hold up the puzzle.
I know what you mean by wanting the puzzling experience to last longer. That’s why sometimes when I speed puzzle, I’m like “oh, I just want to do this again for fun” and another reason why I do larger puzzles. I had a very similar experience with Mudpuppy - loved the images but not the gloss or the pieces that much.

And I'm a glutton for punishment - just bought another Educa - 8000 Piece Dream Town - hope it is not all in one bag but given that their 6000 piece ones are, it very well could be. Crumbly - that's a given but I do enjoy their puzzles. I love that you are getting to know the others who go to the competitions and that you're having fun and enjoying their company and able to get puzzles you otherwise couldn't.
I looked up the image as I wasn’t familiar with it - lovely! I hope it comes in two bags of 4k pieces each for you so it’s easier to handle. I love their images also just wishes piece cut was better. And yes, I’ve met so many great people through the puzzling community. 💜🧩

I haven't read or watched One Piece. I always thought it wasn't for me, but I've seen so many different kinds of people fall in love with it that I might give it a shot. I'd probably start with the live adaptation and see if I get hooked as well. Have you read or watched One Piece?
@@puzzlingread I had heard of One Piece but didn't know what it was about. Then the Netflix series popped up and I decided to watch it. I don't know why or what it was about it, but I just got hooked. Maybe it was the silliness of it all but I really enjoyed the series. I haven't read the comics or seen any of the original animations. It's a bit kooky but I liked that about the series.
Your language comment reminded me of the scene in "Avengers: Infinity War" where Drax protests that Thor uses a "made up word" and Thor responds, "All words are made up." I always thought that was unexpectedly brilliant of Thor.

One question. when you say members only, does that mean members first and they will be available on YT at a later time?
Or do you mean they are members only and the rest of us NEVER get see them at all? Because that's just not fair if that is the case.
If it's a member-only / exclusive video, then it is only available to them and never made public. The members support the channel by paying monthly membership fees and in return, they get perks - one of which is a monthly exclusive video or member-only chat during the livestream (which means that they can type in the live chat and I can read their comments and interact with them live). They are providing extra direct financial support to the channel to cover expenses like buying puzzles, filming equipment, lighting, batteries, travel to competitions, etc... It is completely fair that they get extra content in return for this support. Every channel that has memberships available provides extra content in one form or another to their members. I feel that I provide plenty of public content for everyone's enjoyment releasing 2 videos a week - so I think I am very fair and my membership is only one tier and is very reasonably priced. These videos cost money and time to make - and to show my appreciation to members, I offer them perks in return.
Well you certainly brought back some great puzzles. 🧩 Love the minifig that was fantastic. 👍 Elena Essex are good puzzles but tend to be expensive. I've done one of hers called Sunset Valley which I loved doing, the colours were gorgeous. The Areaware jigsaw that you have is called Arc Pattern designed by Dusen Dusen. There are two others called Lenticular and Stack and I have done all three of them. You'll be fine with it. 😊 There seems to be a good number of UK jigsaw companies selling the Vitruvian Man jigsaw. I'm currently in the process of finishing the Ravensburger Challenge puzzle called Animal Crossing. It's taken me a while but I'll get there! Look forward to your next video.
I wonder if the museum will go after other puzzle brands to try and have them remove Vitruvian Ma for sale also….??
Hello Lovely I just found the Leonardo Da Vinci painting, the Vitruvian man on a Clementoni 1000 piece puzzle on rarepuzzles website. It would be interesting to know if they were sued too like Ravensburger. I thought I will let you know, because you might want to include this in your voicover for that puzzle's video
I will definitely try to find any other brands that have released the Vitruvian Man as a puzzle. Thank you for letting me know about Clementoni. I only heard about Ravensburger so far.
