What's your favorite big body sedan? Thanks to BMW of Shrewsbury for lending me the 750i and thank you to the Patreon supporters who make this content possible!
Audi s8, and bmw m760i
For me, it is the last gen S65. That insane starter noise, 1100 nm @ 1750 rpm, the wide fenders and the luxury is on another level. Love that car.
Gotta say, probably either an XJR or an S8 for me.
W221 S65s are great, I think the best modern one would by the LS500.
S8 and Flying Spur are pretty nice
Lmao "skip the executive pack to keep them humble." That's the key to parenting right there
seriously the funniest quip in the vid!
Gotta keep em humble, I was talking to a dude at work the other day and he was like Yea we bought our daughter a cruze but she didn't like it so we gave her my Wife's BMW instead and now we drive the cruze. WHAT.
Wow, it seems so fast. I had to remind myself that the speedometer is in MPH and not KPH. And Car and Driver managed 27 mpg on their highway test. BMW still builds amazing engines, that’s for sure.
4:43 damn bro you really smashed those brakes lol
“And no we’re not going to get frisky” 🤣
Haahahhah
Made me laugh, too. He's hilarious.
Nothing like looking at luxurious things I'm never going to be able to afford
It exists for you to have so have that shit 💯
Never say never bruh

I’m 23 and working a sales job making over $450,000 a year before taxes. It’s 100% possible through skills you build over years. I worked multiple jobs in high school and worked at building sales skills until recently when I landed this job. Now I can afford something like this and a 458 if I finance both. Without a doubt possible. I used to be very pessimistic too.
@@jeremybrainard4423 what the fuck???
You know it's an average Friday when you see Tedward hustling a limo around a corner
all in a day's work
Nothing better to start off your weekend then a relaxing big ass Schnitzelexpress ride with Tedward 💙
I feel guilty for liking the big grilles now

I can't wait for Hoovie to pick one up for $4k in 20 years.
Lmao

11:58 "maybe we'll skip the executive pack to keep them humble" LMAO kept me laughing for more than i expected watching a tedward video. great vid as always, keep them coming!
rearward and frontward-facing light, but no Tedward-facing light😔
hahaha
What about those infrared lights above at the top of the cluster that kept going off? Those were tedward facing ❤️
Dammit I was gonna comment something similar lmao
I love me some big body sedans (especially with V8 power, for whatever reason). You just feel _successful_ driving them; that's honestly the best way to describe the feeling.
I always end up driving these in a hoody and sambas. I probably look like the pool boy bringing it back to my boss
This is such a beautiful car love everything about it
I am so glad I came across your reviews and your channel. Big fan and a new subscriber, love your reviews, so honest and straight to the point. Good work!!
Thank you!
Its Always a good day when tedward uploads.
I just miss the days when the 7 Series looked good. It's been a really, REALLY long time. Have to go all the way back to the E38, which was last made in 2000? 2001? So it's been a minute.
e38 was by far the best
No Love for e32?
F01 Facelift was a beautiful car and actually the best looking in my opinion, next goes to the e38, e32 then e66, then G11 then e23 after that the “new six”. Personally how I order them from best to least.
the e38 was gorgeous but I actually like the new model too
Wrong
Ok that was an AWESOME review I LOVE that you took it and drove it to show us how it would perform.
Thanks Allan!
Saw a black one of these today. So stout and commanding when parked, the large grills definitely help the look of the 7 series.
I love that interior colour it’s gorgeous
Great video! Love your content
Welcome back he's TEDward
I like the fact that you don't blur the speed.. Good job
Hey tedward, love these videos💙
Thanks Carter!
Love that nice cruise up Rt30 through Southborough.
Nice video man! i really love your video's! Keep them up man! :D Greetings from the Netherlands.

For the Lane keep assist: it is probably Set to "early" Set it to medium with the Button next to the Hazard Lights, Then it still keeps you in Lane nicely but Not as aggressive :)
Very impressed
Super review
Thank you!
My teenage job is working at dealership, running car between dealers but mostly bmw. From customers classic m3’s and other unique collectors to new m series, i series, x series all that. The X7 is MASSIVE and they make us drive it up this cramped ramp trying not to damage these hundreds of thousands of dollar cars lmao.
I even had an alpina b7 come through and good lord that thing was insane
love this !!!!
Damn great review
Thanks Allan!
Love it

“Docking the titanic” that was never docked
It started somewhere 😂
Way better than the S-Class, this is nice and the S-Class is so cheap
No it ain’t
@@EE-ie9gm The new gen feels so
This car remembers me of Regalia From Final Fantasy XV, This car has the same feeling of comfort and power.
My dream car❤️❤️❤️
"maybe we'll skip the executive pack to keep'em humble" 😂😂😂😂
Damn that’s quiet!
I agree with you on preferring BMW over Mercedes. That's a good choice
Hi Tedward, cool review. Is it possible to review a B7 Alpina?
I’ll see what I can find
I love this design more than the old one. I like the old one too just because you can get the 740 CPOs for around $40k
Maintenance is killer
@@jehanzebkhan8063 is it rly bad?
Best luxurious big sedan after the s class
Very good
even though i could search this up is the 750i is it a Grippy car or a car that's possible to slide?
(A.k.a is it AWD or RWD)
The 7 series is such a badass car 🤯 ps. Don’t forget to respect the drive ! 🙂
Perhaps you need to drive a full size pickup to get a idea of what a big vehicle is on the highways of the USA. The 7 series is a flagship luxury vehicle far from a barge.
Good driver👍
Thank you!
For me, the 7-series is as good as its ever been right now. I should love it, but the styling makes it so difficult. If I was to have one, I would definitely be skipping the M bodykit haha.
Seeing those IRs firing up from time to time is... interesting.
Im watching this video and im like wait a minute thats 495 oh snap rt 9 lol
0:33 Is that a barbera red metallic e90 in the back???
Hi Tedward! How does it compare to the Maserati Quattroporte 3.8 you recently, on the noise, harshness and vibrations level? Thank you!
Far more refined than the Maserati
@@TedwardDrives thank you! It's what I feared.
I hope that you have the opportunity to drive the Audi S8 in the near future. I would really like a comparison between these two
I’ve driven the 2017 S8 plus but I haven’t driven the latest and greatest. The Audi dealership next door may have one for me
hate the front grill being that huge, but would buy this car for the engine and interior
I think I'm ready for a big sedan, like a XJR supercharged x350 or something like that, Lexus or anything with a nice leather, v8, auto, etc etc. and you know what, one day I'm gonna do it, not because of you, but thanks to you :D
I don't know I think I enjoy every aspects and opposites the car world has to offer ahah
Haha it’s really fun to drive things on the other end of your familiar spectrum!
@@TedwardDrives it is! This is why I can't sell my 78" Mini that I like as much as my e36 M3. So different and yet so complementary 👌
1:27 isn’t the back seat usually where a lot of the “magic” happens? ;)
Respect the drive🥱
Glad it included a rearward facing light, and a frontward facing light, although I’m surprised they undermined the importance of a Tedward facing light 🤔
😂
how does this compare to that monster Quattroporte?
Would you be able to review another RS3 at some point? I like when you are able to drive by yourself and not be restrained by the owner in the passenger seat. If you know what I mean lol
😂 fair point. My friend just offered his RS3 for a review so I’ll take him up on it
Very well researched presentation.
I have one and I definitely do not recommend the seat massage/ ventilation.
I have it on my 2020 750i but this option made the seat nobbly, hard and uncomfortable compared to 7-series without this option. This is because of the elements that they had to insert for massage and ventilation. It honestly is a useless gimmick that I used perhaps only 3 or 4 times in the first few weeks of ownership but never used it again, just like the sandwich maker that every household has but to only be used once or twice.
However, the laser lights are wonderful and a must. They light up the road very very very clearly more than half a mile ahead, even with so many cars ahead or coming opposite, with its clever selective beam block around cars in front.
The 180 degrees front and back cameras are a godsend when joining a tight badly visible T junction or backing up from my tight garage exit straight into busy road with no visibility till half the car back is in the busy road.
Also, when you drive into a tight unfamiliar tortuous path only to discover that the only way out is to back up, then just press a button, let go the steering wheel and the car will trace exactly the same path backwards.
Also the drive recorder which will record with 4 cameras all around the car 20 seconds before you press the button and 20 seconds after. It also spontaneously record in case it senses an accident.
I also regularly do 37mpg (imperial gallons) on my regular weekly 488 miles round trips between south London and north Manchester.
If you enjoy serene calm driving like I do, this car is a dream to drive and makes you feel the dignity of being of the human race.
This was a nice owner review, thank you! I appreciated it!
Do you have any electrical issues or leaks with this vehicle? I love the 7 series body style and still looking into getting one in April.
@@rayp5168 no issues of any kind at all, although I have already done 71k miles
completely off topic, but I've been playing a bunch of driving games recently instead of actually driving, cause of corona, and I just gotta say, seeing you on the right side of the road some how threw me off and I'm American lol
Mmaaann!! This looks so slow but when I look at the speedo... 😭😱😂
Could you drive a m240i?
Video seems to show a HUD - was that effective and easy to read?
Yup I really like the bmw huds
I'm actually a big fan of the BMW 7 series. Can't wait to get one of these for 75% off in 5 years xD
Depreciation is a beautiful thing

Can you review a BMW X6
Those grills look like the elephant's trunk in Tom and Jerry when they painted him to look like Jerry.
You're welcome, you can't unsee it now.
I'd always get G Class style doors over soft close.
No rear cups?
I bet im not the only one who wants to see a 760Li 2006 review
Hopefully sponsored by Tire Rack so I can roast the rear lol
Really sick car. Just sad that the interior isn't fully updated like a 3 series (gear selector, climate control)
I drove the new m235i right before this and I think I might prefer the older layout. No strong feelings either way honestly.
@@TedwardDrives well my parents X6 has the new updated interior. It looks similar to this but the gear selector, infotainment and climat control looks like its from iDrive 7. Love your vids tho. Thanks for the ❤!

Review the new S-Class W223
Definitely on my list
S class next plz
I bet he tested the full speed as soon as he was done filming the video lml
Of course he did.
Transporter vibes
It’s kind of funny that bmw has apple car play but Samsung tablet in the rear
Lol @ docking the titanic
Are we going to ignore the fact the 7 series comes with turn signals?
I don't make enough money to even look at this car!
The closest I get to driving this car is at work only 😂
Americans are really funny ,docking the titanic :)
Need me a boat in my life
I think 750 is just better to drive than m760, from my limited time of test drive.
cant wait for 2030 to buy it in eastern europe with 180k kms !
2014 750i xdrive with less than 45k miles on Autotrader for $25k and that’s from a BMW dealer....WOW!
the people who buy these cars are lucky they already got the tedward shake down
Haha it’s true tho. If something is seriously wrong it’ll go wrong early under some load. I had a supercar car pop a coolant hose on me once in its first 200 miles of life. Luckily it happened after I parked so no chance to overheat
👍👍👍👍
i guess the new s class is a great competitor to this .
True
This car is basically 5 years old. The next gen 7 will compete with the new s. Wait about a year.
@@aidenp5768 I hope it will look good like no 4 series grill

Well from the spy photos, the body shape shows a lot of e38 and e23 vibes. The grill as always is going to be huge but the grill won’t be as big as the M3/4
@@aidenp5768 sounds good I hope they borrow inspiration from the vision luxury concept presented in 2014
