    Bresser Made in Germany🇩🇪

    I have a question I’ve been trying to figure out, how do you connect the antenna to the outdoor weather station?

    am from Morocco, and I bought this German-made station about a month ago. Frankly, it is wonderful and works well and is accurate in terms of sensing humidity, temperature, wind speed and direction, and the rain gauge works well as well... but unfortunately there is a fundamental problem with this station, which is that the temperature sensor Temperature during the full brightness of the sun and especially when the wind stops, the scale gives an increase in temperature of one to three degrees, more than the actual temperature in reality, and this defect I believe does not exist for the second version of the station 1 in 7..... This defect exists for the station 1 in 5 Is it intended to push the consumer to buy the second, more accurate version while the sensor operates in full solar brightness?

    when you complete the setup what exactly should you do?
    press exactly after the wifi button to connect, wait for it to connect while it puts the AP function on the screen or what?
    Thanks

    • @AstraExplora
      @AstraExplora  Před 2 lety

      you should restart after you have finish the setup.
      You will notice the wifi bar blinking next to the clock at the bottom.
      If the symbol stopped blinking after 5 seconds or so and appear as a steady symbol, then your setup is done correctly.
      If the wifi symbol keep blinking for so long, it is likely that the setup is misconfigure. That or the wifi signal is too weak to be pickup by the base station.

    Hi. I'm looking at this station to get an average wind speed reading for the next 12 months, to see if we have enough wind to justify installing a small wind turbine. Can you you see, daily, monthly and yearly wind speed data such as averages and data graphs with this unit or through the web application?

    • @AstraExplora
      @AstraExplora  Před 2 lety

      You can see the data graphs and records through the web application.
      I use Weather Underground. There, the stored data can be observed in either daily mode, weekly mode or monthly mode.

    Question, can you manually calibrate the barometer to adjust your elevation height?

    • @AstraExplora

      As far as I know, there is no way to manually calibrate the barometer.

      maybe self calibrating? It just seems a bit lower than other stations in my area.

    Can you tell me how far the station can be from the hub? I would need them to be about 35ft apart from my sun room to the bottom of the garden.

    • @AstraExplora
      @AstraExplora  Před rokem

      The technical data in the manual stated that the radio frequency range of the hub to the station can be up to 150 meters (492ft), transmitting at 868Mhz.

    @yigitkagankoc9249 Před 2 lety +1

    • @AstraExplora
      @AstraExplora  Před 2 lety

      The technical data (inside the manual) didn't mention anything about the temperature sensor refresh rate.

    Hi, I want to but this weather station but I have read that the temperature has 2-4ºC more in full sun... Is it true? Thanks!

    • @AstraExplora
      @AstraExplora  Před 2 lety

      I am not sure about that since this weather station lacks sensor instruments that measure the UV index and solar radiation
      Thus, I cannot properly correlate between the spike of temperature against the full sun.

    Which way should you have it pointed for moon phase to work properly?

    • @AstraExplora
      @AstraExplora  Před 2 lety

      For the moon phase to be accurate, you need to
      either:
      1) Set the proper GMT timezone and key in the correct time and date.
      Or
      2) Have the GMT, time and date synchronized by the internet when connecting the base station to a wifi router.
      The weather station only needed to be pointed to "Grid North" so as to correctly display wind direction on the weather map of weatherunderground.com (or your preferred personal weather station website)

    • @stephenlyda3810
      @stephenlyda3810 Před 2 lety

      how do you get it to go online on weather underground?

    • @AstraExplora
      @AstraExplora  Před 2 lety

      @@stephenlyda3810 As shown on 4:53, the moment it could access the internet, it will go online.
      6:24 show the flow chart for the flow of weather data to the internet
      It will be offline if
      - there is no power on the base station or the weather station
      - there is signal disruption on the wifi router

    • @AstraExplora
      @AstraExplora  Před 11 měsíci

      Linking Base Station ( the display screen) to Weather Station is usually automated. Be mindful of obstacle and signal interference that may reduce the working range between the Base Station and the Weather Station. Try to place it nearby before placing it further.
      Linking the Base Station to wifi and wunderground is shown on 4:53. It is best to get it done using a smartphone with the internet data turned off in order to properly connect to the bresser base station via wifi
