I’ve missed that, British comedy has been very one-sided lately, it’s refreshing to get a more middle area view of both sides faults.
The only safe thing about this reboot is the middle of the road inoffensive satire. Its pathetic and has no balls in a "woke" world were everybody's scared to say anything this fits in just perfectly. It's a disgrace to satire.

It's so weak that they're trying to pander to conservatives. Really not in the spirit of the original show. Most of the new stuff is really good but these misguided attempts at 'balance' really spoil it. The world needs good satire more than ever, and this really could be it. I am not sure but if you have a vpn you can acsess state media like britbox although spitting image might be the itv portion which isnt state media.
I’m pretty certain BritBox is available in the US like here as a subscription service. I believe North America had it before us in Britain. Spitting Image is the lead programme on the British version.

From what I've heard, President Trump absolutely loved the humor that Spitting Image brought out in his satirical comedic manner!
Nancy Pelosi on the other hand was very offended by her character and even went as far as threatening the producers of the show with a lawsuit if they didn't remove her puppet from the show which the producers flat out refused!
It's funny how these days certain people don't know how to have fun with themselves and have a dry sense of humor! During the 80s version of Spitting Image as well as Sid & Marty Krofft's
DC Follies everyone depicted was very flattered to be featured in such a comedic way!
Ronald Reagan and George Bush even stated in an interview that they never missed one episode of Spitting Image or DC Follies because it made them fall off the couch laughing at their puppet versions and mannerisms!
Even Richard Nixon loved DC Follies because his character was always pulling schemes to try to make a fortune on the stupidest things like trying to pass off a white sheet with his face as the Shroud Of Turin!
Believe it or not, Nixon's character on DC Follies actually managed to regain respect from the American people after everything he had done throughout his decades of public service!
