Yeah I tried something, didn’t end up too well… so back to the old ways
I always do my tuckspots in those apartment buildings, usually just take the top room and leave the bottom open so ppl run through. i also put my flag up, buildout the walls and put stash in a tent so it doesnt despawn.

@@SidDayZ I’ve had horrible sinus pressure so I’ve been zooted on Sudafed for a few days. I woke up like 10 mins before the upload, went out for a smoke, and load up the app to see the video at 0 views posted like 20 seconds prior

i dont know if this is possible in dayz cos i havent played and also i watch rust videos.. but i was thinking it would be cool to make a perverted murder like house with secret tunnels... like a norman bates psycho sort of place.. or maybe a guest house paradiso - rik mayall style hotel to perv on guests or something.. just for roleplaying purposes... it could be funny.. ive seen youtubers on rust raiding a base, putting in secret rooms and then repairing it again so no one knows they are there so u can spy on the owners or slowly steal their stuff.. or move stuf fin their base every so often to make them think they are going crazy... in rust u can put hidden cameras up also to spy on them.. im not talking to raid them & take all their stuff but just to be a creep and watch them and make them feel they are going crazy.. like putting strange noises etc.. i think it could be very funny
Pff probably possible but it will cost money to make and crazy effort so unless someone really wants to make this, it’s unlikely it will happen
@@SidDayZ yeah in dayz base building is a lot tougher.. ive seen it more in rust videos where u just have to farm wood & stone.. i think it would make for a funny video though.. you build a base that looks abandoned or raided in the hope someone takes it over but a secret entrance outside makes a pathway all around their base... sort of thing a youtuber might do for an interesting video.. most players wouldnt do it though.. or maybe when u have admin control and ur trolling like memeio or enardo does on rust.. that way u can have fun but it doesnt really cost u any time & resources to make it

Just because you see zombies on a helicrash, it does not automatically rule it as looted. Zombies always re-spawn back even if they are killed, yes, even on the helicrash sites. Only how you know its been looted is if you see no zombies anywhere nearby, now thats more worrying.

At first, I thought cool, I like hidden base ideas. Then I was like, really? That's a high traffic town. Then right at the point of "I'm just going to put the flag pole here", I just rolled my eyes and moved on....lol
You need a flag pole to build, then you can remove it depending on your plan. I basically had this base so hidden that you only find it if you open the door to that room, meaning you have to walk to the top in that exact building and open that exact door, why would you?

Editing suggestion: This is very good, but maybe aim to skip and or condense a lot of the base building into a monologue to record alter over footage. If you make 20-30 min videos instead of the regular 50-180 min day z videos you may be able to get the more casual viewers and get more views
Hmm will take into account, the building is already narrowed down to a very small proportion, the only thing that really took time was growing the stuff and explaining it, but making 30 minute videos overall is usually a bad idea

Try something new everytime… try to build in a different town or play different servers with chernarus, some servers have modded area’s etc, I try to switch a little bit though everytime..
