I purchased it just before Karl posted the mp3. Fortunately I was able to return it through Audible and listen to the free copy from Karl.

So shuli makes about 400 dollars an hour doing his shows in superchats has to take away 30 percent away for youtube that makes it 280 after that he pays bob mike and producer 200 leaves him ith 80 an hour he does 5 hours daily seven days a week so he makes 3000 a week and thats me being conservative so its probably like 5k a week so he is making a quarter mill a year. When jhon realizes this he will regret doing that interview at the hotel with the backpack and accusations of being a mole

Serious question about SJ always claiming that everything is fake money wise when it comes to the shuli network. Couldn't that deter others from donating money Because if its all fake then why bother? I would think that would be illegal to say without providing any evidence otherwise.

One of my favorite old clips from SJ’s early podcast is with Anthony Cumia.
One, he exposes how absolutely disgusting he is, not realizing how embarrassing. He also discusses his bed, and how it was filled with cat crap, in addition to him peeing himself. That story has relevance because this would have been around the same time Oscar stayed.

I dunno about this "the more distortion you use the better you sound as a guitarist" thing, controlling the feedback levels is difficult without some experience and all of the bumps/scrapes/handling noises/etc become a lot harder to conceal than with a clean setting; I hear jazz guitarists say that rock and metal guitarists "let the amp do all the work for them" but if you handed one of these guys the same kind of settings that (name a big metal band here) used, the guitar would squeal and squall and they'd be tripping over themselves to put the amp back on "clean" because they'd have no clue how to keep things under control and make it sound anything except for sloppy...
Kind of besides the point cos John sucks on guitar regardless haha... just a thought! Great show and Producer Chris is an absolute diamond, not to mention a truly and properly hilarious dude. Best wishes to him and his family.

1:19:15 not to get serious, but what happened to John is he lost his kids and probably wasn’t ever part of their life growing up once he split with his wife (divorce docs seem to support that). Even though his children are adults now, his primary memories of them are being young so that’s how he always imagines them in his head.
John’s a piece of trash, but it’s sad that he blew off his children so he could just focus on himself. Based on what we know of his kids, it appears to have taken a serious toll on them, too.
