I had to cancel my subscriptions as my company laid off quite a lot of people including myself on Wednesday. I am going to live vicariously through your videos and the comments going forward. Thanks for the videos ❤. I got the Juliette not a perfume from Ipsy. Jury is still out on whether I really like it or not. I don’t hate it and smells different on my skin then in the tube. That one was 0.17 FL oz but bigger than I thought. Like deluxe sample

I have been waiting for your spoiler video, which I always enjoy! I have mixed feelings about whether or not to skip this box but I think I’m gonna go ahead and get it. Like you I’m a sucker for a lip or lip butter I think the cleansing oil Will be a good product making the box worthwhile. The mascara may be a hit or miss, but I love toning mascara. Loving the elf tubing mascara, better than Thrive!

I loved July’s box and I’m loving this one as well. I personally don’t mind smaller sizes for what we are paying for premium products. That perfume is really nice. I’ve gotten several Juliette has a gun perfumes in different boxes and it seems like just the size that they put out into subscription boxes. Thanks for sharing!
Yea the sizes are small but I was still so happy with last month because of the mix of the goodies. Yea it’s true, I don’t see full size perfumes in boxes often. Only the Trendmood just had a full sized one.
I liked last months box. Excited about this month as well. I always go back to allure over the other boxes because of the skincare. You should do a beauty room tour2
I loved last months too. I did end up skipping this month, only because it’s repeat for me. But yes, I do declutters and organization videos every so often, so will try to incorporate a tour then:) 🤗

Tubing mascara actually lengthens your eyelashes by adding little "tubes" on the ends.
Oh good way to describe it. I actually never seem to see the “tubes” on mine lol.

Sure thing! I love playing with a full look on camera. I always do them for Ipsy each month, but allure needs to give us more makeup to do a full face try-on. They tend to be skincare heavy.
For the price, can’t beat Allure boxes.There's usually two/three items in each box I totally want. Don’t think I’ll ever skip a box. LOVE trying new products as I’ve been introduced to many continue to buy! 👍
Yea if there are 2 good ones I get to try and love, I consider it such a win for the price too. I ended up skipping but it was repeat for me.
I have the worst timing! I just purchased the KVD tubing mascara from the Ipsy sale yesterday. I wish I would have known sooner. I am Hoping I like it. My lashes are long but I really LOVE making them super long since I can’t apply lashes to save my life!🤦♀️🤦♀️. I am always happy with a lip balm since I go through at least four a month. I wear it all day and night. My lips get very dry and painful if I don’t. I have eczema. I received that same perfume last year in my Allure box. I hope they don’t follow Ipsy by sending duplicate products. For me, this month is good even though I am getting 2 repeats. Have a Great weekend!❤️❤️❤️

I love this box, but this month is a bit of a snooze you are right. I like the lip butter, and the cleanser sounds good. That Eclat Ski sounds good. The wipes are like come on you just didn't have a 5th product. I have tons of those. The full sizes are the mascara, the lip balm, and the rounds as it is two of them lol. Oh I will still get it , but the ext box better be a bit better or I may change my skincare box to something else. I loved last month's box. Love Amy I had no idea I could skip. Thanks hun..

I truly hate Allure, I'm in other country and I usually buy my subscription boxes without issue to my full American address using my international card, but Allure is absolutely ridiculous, they processed my purchase, one week later they appeared saying that I'm high risk fraud and cancel my shop. I tried to explain and they continued say I'm a fraud, so it's so disappointing

I really liked July's box; specially YSL primer and Tula cooling eye balm. I'm not impressed with August box at all, so I skipped it.

Idk Sher that might be a full size travel spray perfume I’ve seen them before be different sizes like .28 .27 .30 and so forth and I hear you can use it to complement other scents when you use it together with something else
Oh gotcha, ok so it may be the official travel spray one. I just looked at Sephora when you said that and it does indeed match the travel spray size. So when you think about it, that travel spray is $34 so right there, it’s worth more than the cost of the box. It just looked small…😂

I would actually think the opposite on a tubing mascara. I would think they would be terrible for people that wore contacts if they have the tendency to rub their eyes. I love thrive but I get particals in my eyes when I never do. The Juliet has a gun. Ive been able to purchase all of those from ipsy shops. I mean I have so many that I purchased for like 2.50 in a duo or $3 regularly. I have every single one I think. I never tried them tbh. They are usually 5ml sometimes 10ml I think. Id have to look. Very small.
Oh wow, interesting you had problems with the thrive but not others. They say they’re better for sensitivity but it may be that it depends on the regular mascara they’re comparing it to. They might be thinking of the really clumping ones that are hard to remove from the lashes/eyes. Then you’re running harder to get it off and bothering the eyes more?
I do see that perfume show up on Ipsy a lot. Definitely a repeat for many. But that’s why I want to finally try it. 😂

It's nice to hear you like Allure. I don't really, I suppose we have different interests. I want some make up and every box has given
various tubing mascara (including one I got from Allure way back) tho I love KVD. Thanks for explaining it, no one really has given me a good explanation of what it is and or why I'd want it. My problem with the ones I have is it seems to clump off at the end of the day or if I rub my eyes...which actually makes it easier to come off but don't want it taking my lashes with it. A different tubing.
They give too many facial creams, things that I either already use a product I've very happy with or just don't want to change my routine to try something differnet. Nice they are big sizes vs Ipsy but it's also more money. I think Allure is good for people who have little knowledge of using toners, serums, etc and it offers good products for them to try.
Only thing I'll say is ironically a few of my basic products I enjoy using (make up wise) are from a box where it was the only item I used. That said, good choices. Just one make up product in a box doesn't cut it for me.

They are all good, it's just a matter of whether they provide the things we specifically would like to have for the money putting out.

Oh yes, it definitely comes down to preferences of what we want. Allure is definitely a skincare heavy box, not great for those who want makeup. Ipsy is a mix of both. The all makeup boxes out there seem to focus on indie brands more. (Except chic beauty box does a little of everything.)
So that’s the tubing mascaras that are clumping off on you? Or regular ones?
@@SherSharesBeauty I think it was a Tarte (a while ago when they were new) it went on nice, stayed on but at some point lil small clumps would come off. I also tried another tubing one (drug store) and it also seemed prone to crumbling. Tho I've heard some are made to come off easy?
I like my lashes to look long and thick so... just wasn't what I wanted.
Love KVD products tho.
I have to say I paid for an annual membership and I sooooo regret that. At this rate I’ll never receive 12. I don’t care for random perfumes, we get a mascara in every box, so a lip gloss some micellar water,
a couple reusable rounds and some samples? For how much did I just pay? lol. They have to do better.
Yea I do feel like the quality has declined lately. I did like last month for me personally. But I don’t think it’s been great since the Charlotte Tilbury bronzer box. I feel this box is the least exciting to me of all. I may get it for the perfume but if not for that, it’d be the biggest flop, personally.

I just picked up the perfume (I think the same size) as an add on with my Ipsy box last month. It’s very tiny. Smells good, but I paid $6 for it through Ipsy.

Glad I cancelled Allure only last month after being with them many years due to their crappy July box spoilers. I finally got tired of all the sample sizes-they tend to collect in my shower and I forget I have them and the writing on the sample is TINY. Like imma in the shower can't see good enough to read the tiny print to see if it's for my face or hair!! Happened today grrrr. Allure tends to send mascara, lip balm and an eyeshadow brush thrown in for the full size-- then toss a few tiny samples in and call it a day. Glad i didn't miss getting it this month. They have gone downhill since I started with them several years ago.
Yea I feel like there is a month every now and then that is exciting to me but then pretty filler in between. The small sizes has definitely been trending lately and I just don’t get it!

Hi I used to get allure in fact my 1st box,kinder beauty then found ipsy & w/in few months I added ipsys glam bag plus too. After a couple of months of getting all 4 I began skipping glam bag just plus monthly loved kinder beauty so didn't skip I also began skipping allure. I really didn't need that much stuff monthly but w fixed income had to make decisions so I definitely agree about allure seeming like smaller sizes plus their market place way more $$ overall than ipsy. Kept skipping kinder beauty but purchased from their shop. Cheapest place to get collective labs all natural hair growth serum really works. Sadly they're out of business now I'm pay $47 for that 😢 but it works isn't full of hormones that were affecting my health so worth it. Now ipsy all the way. I did try single swag pretty nice I just don't use about 1/2 what's in box. Muscle box is really fun get clothes healthy snacks & accessories to all their workouts there's 1000. I've been wanting to try fabfitfun my Gf loves it. Is that a box you get

Yea I hate it that kinder beauty just suddenly closed their doors with no warning. I was going to sign up for it too. I just shared my very first Fab Fit Fun box tonight, actually (a double header day today lol). It is amazing! It’s pricier than the others but oh wow, it is so so good! 👏 I love that it’s 100% customizable and the beauty choices are stellar! 👌
@SherSharesBeauty the price was what stopped me. What kind of things come in the fabfitfun box. It seemed like there's a wide variety. I'll definitely check out your unveiling. Sounds like you're had busy day. So many who were getting kinder had no clue everyone was just trying to figure out what was going on then a out 4-6 months there was a post. Apparently doing that kind of box 100% cruelty free substanable farms,etc where ingredients for products came from. It was a loss & company couldn't sustain itself let alone make a profit. Apparently they basically went under. Raising box cost would have been just too high & lost business anyway. It really was a shame they had just come out with their own line of serums the natural retinal starts w B,im like you I'd recognize word pronouncing some well that's another story. They were so reasonable around $30& alot more than the typical 1 oz

You can wash your face too. Thought I mentioned that too? 🤔 But ok yea I’m terrible at pronunciations… 😂 I hear some people say “MYcella” and some say “mih-cella”. I guess the southerner in me says it that way. But the MYcella is probably the correct way. I’m guilty of butchering words sometimes. 😂
I have really mixed feelings about this box. I really wish that Allure would abide by the original inception of the box and provide 3 real "full size" items and that at least 2 of the 5 items were makeup. I plan to get the box but I'm not super excited about it

The water is kind of a dud for me. I use to use them years ago when I wore a lot of makeup.

Hi,,, my gosh! With these items,,,, you would swear allure contacted Ipsy !! The 2 KVD items, and the daily concepts, the allure box was soooo much better back when it was $15,
Right?! This definitely screams Ipsy repeat this month. In fact, I got my KVD mascara from Ipsy. 😂 It has not been as good lately. This month especially, IMO.
I’m definitely getting it for the tubing mascara and perfume!! I really hope the perfume is the travel size sold for $34-36 and not the larger sample size. I’ve never tried the KVD tubing mascara, but only wear tubing mascaras on my sensitive eyes. The lip balm seems nice too; is it clear or tinted???
Yea I’ve been looking at the perfume size more and the travel spray at Sephora for $34 is matching the size here so I think it’s the travel spray. Hopefully! Also the lip balm is clear (non tinted). I’m excited for that one and the perfume. I’d be really happy if I didn’t already own the mascara. ☺️

Agree. I guess some of these are technically full size. But they pick the travel sprays and eye creams as those. Give us at least one full size moisturizer or something, Allure. 🤷🏻♀️

No, I'm with you. I thought the July box was fierce, though she be tiny. That YSL primer alone is incredible. I will be getting it in the full size when I run out of this deluxe sample. The August box is incredibly disappointing. From my fellow Reddit investigators, it looks like the Eclat Skin micellar water is a white label product, which I thought I would be avoiding when subscribing to Allure. The reusable rounds as a full size is also incredibly lame.

Like I don't hate it, it's not gross enough to get rid of it yet but I'm still keeping it in the box because I just don't know... lol maybe I should wear it and see what it smells like on me but I've been scared because it smells so weird 😂

Worst box of the year. What is going on I am sick of Allure. I get 3 different boxes a month this was the worst. I use to love it I got trash cleaning water like what with travel size . This is bullshit. We are definitely not getting our money’s worth . Like seriously 3 travel size some stink perfume and and a piece of cloth. I was not a fan of this box either. I am however hoping it’s improved in September because we’ve at least seen we’re getting Nudestix blush for our choice product. I think that’ll be a good one. Hope the box is as good. I feel like they do one really exciting one ever so often to keep us coming and then give filler in between:(
