Looks gorgeous 😍 👌! When I use that $ tree ribbon , I spay it with clear spray paint or sealer ..it usually keeps all the glittery stuff on rhe ribbon ! Works for me. I found zig zagging the ribbon works the best and then I keep the clippings to put on my pipe cleaners when I glue them to the back of the sign or whatever it is.
I love your idea to glue the unwired ribbon to the wired ribbon. So pretty how you can see just enough of the silver at the edges! I'm going to try this for sure. I have a few unwired that I love, but I hate using it cause it's so floppy lol

Beautiful Wreath Nadia. That crisscross method looks simple to do. And it's great that with this method, there will be no fraying. Which is one of the reasons that I don't like working with deco mesh. I'm wondering, do you think this method would work with the dollar tree mesh? I realize that it's only 6" wide, not 10" like used here. I've also glued non wired ribbon on top of wired ribbon in the past. However, I never thought of only gluing at the folded ends. So in my case, I could see the glue showing through the top ribbon. So thanks for sharing this great idea. This wreath would look wonderful in a little girl's room as well. I tried this method because I liked the way Nadia’s demo turned out. But I made six inch poofs and it doesn’t look full enough. Need suggestion on how to build it up without starting over?
I'm struggling with my ribbons. They never sit flat unless I make them long, and then it looks obnoxious. I mainly use the cruffle method. When I use criss-cross or poof, it's fine. Do you think maybe I'm making them too FULL?
I don't think you are making the wreaths too full, it sounds like you are using ribbon with weak wires on the edges because nice ribbon should lay how you tell it too. Good luck dear friend 🤗
Good grief! I am trying to make a patriotic star wreath with DT deco mesh--still see the wire under 3 layers of deco mesh. Now what do I do? I have no patriotic ribbon. Time to undo it and try something else.
3 rolls of mesh (red, white and blue) held together to make pouffs at the intersections of the middle wire. I could start over and add 2 pouffs between the cross wires. The mesh is so loosely woven, it is far too sheer. Never buying more. Sadly, I have a lot in many colors. I may rip a torn white sheet in 4-6" strips to use beneath the pouffs to hide the wire wreath. If I had ribbon to make messy bows, I would just keep going, but I don't and my car is in the shop. Since I didn't finish it for today, I have time to find ribbons and do it for July 4. I will figure something out. I was at a frustration point while watching your success. Thanks for asking, Nadia.

I did the kriss cross method on a candy cane frame. I didn't think about using 2 colors though.
