      Really? How do you know this? I have long wondered why he did it. Was he in a trance? Also, why wait until that day/night? Maybe he was using when he killed them. Do you know?
      His girlfriend said he would never do such a thing. Was she a user too. Sorry to bombard you but I've never heard a motive before.

    • @jaybonilla701
      @jaybonilla701 Před 4 lety +231

      Elisa Mastromarino Sunday Times wrote an entire article about the information we know about him! Apparently, before the murder, his family threatened to cut off his allowance if he continued using drugs (if I recall correctly). On Wikipedia, it states that his drug dealer mentioned he was a consistent customer and there was apparently video footage backing this up. I’m not too sure why he chose that date specifically. I’m not too sure if the girl was a user as well. Assuming this is all completely true, he wanted to receive all the money in order to fill his drug addiction. However, there are allegations stating he was mentally ill. Wether this is true or not, there’s a chance he was and this could’ve also been another factor into his murder/motives.

I live in Australia and this comment reminded me of a young woman that had gotten in a bit of trouble with a couple of drug dealers but she managed to escape and call 000 for help. The 000 operator didn’t believe her and was disgustingly condescending. If you listen to the recording, the victim is begging for help and even says ‘I am hiding in a bush, if I speak any louder, they will hear me!’ You can just hear the frustration in her voice! What resonated with me throughout the video was that he said he was able to hit the attacker in the shoulder with the axe. If that was true, they would’ve found foreign DNA on it. But it only had the four peoples DNA

    • @CourtneyRoseMurphy
      @CourtneyRoseMurphy Před 5 lety +12

      The re-enactment showed he hit him with the blunt side of the axe so maybe that’s why

    • @brigittedesloges520

      I figured he was using the blunt side in the re-enactment so he didn’t accidentally hit the guy lol

    • @CourtneyRoseMurphy
      @CourtneyRoseMurphy Před 5 lety +7

      maybe but he was just lightly tapping him with a fake axe anyway so he would’ve shown which side he hit him with I guess and it would’ve worked more in his favour considering it was a false re-enactment if none of the attackers DNA could have gotten anywhere it was just a strike so he’d drop the knife, but that’s just how I interpreted it 😅

    • @Allanaamaayx
      @Allanaamaayx Před 5 lety +6

    I know I am very late with this comment but, as a mental health worker, I would have liked to hear if any psychiatric examination was made and what Henry's reasons for such savagery were? Greed would appear to be the most probable cause, and yet someone becoming an axe murderer without any prior signs of mental disorder is highly unlikely. Of all possible less violent, less painful, less bloody and much quicker ways to end someone's life, this young man chose one of the most violent and most cruel weapons against his closest relatives, which included lot of physical effort from him and lots of spilt blood. That points at the fact that there was not only the desire to end his family members' lives, but also to cause lots of pain, to destroy their bodies and spill their blood. It was not only very personal for him, but also unnecessarily violent, cruel and savage. No sane person, who has never showed any signs of mental problems before, suddenly transforms into an axe wielding family murderer without prior signs of significant psychopathology.
