Brings back memories of my sweet childhood. I love Grimmy, Birdie, and Hamburglar, the Happy Meals of my childhood generation (b.1987) were the most awesome Happy Meals especially the most awesome Happy Meal Toys ever. Today's Happy Meals...don't even get me started.
I remember back in the early 90s when he said "Tis I sir Ronald." I laughed my ass off. I actually didn't like this commercial either but that particular part won me over because it was so funny.
Because of the documentaries "Super Size Me" and "Food Nation" and childhood obesity sweeping across the nation, we will never see the Mc Donald's kiddie commercials ever again. These commercials were played when the kids came home from school, and during Saturday morning cartoons to target the kiddie audience. It's like when Fred Flintstone was advertising Winston cigarettes. I think they should continue to play the Ronald Mc Donald kiddie commercials. I loved these!
The versions of Ronald McDonald that weren't creepy and actually a touch amusing were the commercials where he was interacting in his own world with the other McD characters, instead of directly with little kids
LOL my black friend had a big afro when this commercial was on tv and everytime it was on at home i would laugh at the clowns big puffy fro and say it reminded me of him!
Haha I remember this commercial. I had not seen it in over 20 years, it would usually air on Fox 5 during the cartoon blocks. It would also air on NBC and ABC on Saturday mornings.
i work there putting myself through school and i know everyone says it trying to sound cool but trust me when i say if you as the customer had seen some of the things that go on in the kitchen you would not eat the food ever again, pay a close close eye on the the people working in the kitchen you may not see it at first but its there and you'll see it eventually
you got that right you can even find them in a Walmart or Walmart Supercenter these days and they even have a McDonald's a mile or half a mile away from the store. Well I don't know if that's nationwide or not but where I live there are 4 Walmarts. 1 on W. Elmsley Dr., 1 in Pyramid Village, 1 on the corner of W. Wendover Ave. and Bridford Parkway, and 1 on Battleground Ave. all with a McDonald's inside and nearby the store.
Why am I watching old McDonald's commercials. What am I doing with my life.
I always liked this guys voice, he was Ronald McDonald for me growing up in the 80's and 90's.
