  • Holden Beach North Carolina was dredged in 2022 and they hit an area that was covered with lots of fossils. They pushed that sand to the beach and everyday they keep showing up. People have been picking them up for almost two years and soon there wont' be any till they dredge again. I found cool shells and tons of Sea Biscuits

A great beach walk. I appreciate the sound of the ocean and that you dont feel you have to talk the entire time. Talking is ok but this style feels like an actual beach experience. More Please

I collected several of those awhile ago. Aren’t they heavy? I also collected many augers, baby’s ears, small olives and tusk shells. It was a nice change to what I usually find at our local beach. Enjoyed and thanks for sharing. Blessings

Incredible as always!! Can sea biscuits be found at Huntington Beach State Park? Love those! Reminds me of a combination of a sea urchin and a sand dollar. ❤. Thank you so much for sharing!!

I have not seen them other than Holden Beach and all because they hit a spot when they were dredging. I know they are dredging at Huntington now and I walked there two days ago and did not find anything. I did not get close to the heavy machines but will check it once they are done. :)
