I got zenobia quite early on and absolutely loved her from the moment I got her just because of her raw power. She probably is one of my favourite blades to use and also just in general she also was the first blade for whom I completed the affinity chart.

I landed Zenobia as my first Rare on Rex with like my third common Crystal, then got Boreas on Nia after a few more. I was pretty much set early on, having Zenobia from the start made the game ridiculously easy.
Been trying to help a friend out who doesn't have her & I sure as hell notice the difference, I did the story bosses usually a couple levels too early & she would hit them for crazy damage and always grab agro.

I got Zenobia fairly early on. On Zeke, no less, so I didn’t have to waste an Overdrive. So... yay~
Zeke, Morag, and (to a lesser extent) Tora, are basically the way to go in Post-Game.
Zenobia gets topple on zeke.. i use him as my tank with zenobia and 2 hp% shieldhammer (launch) commons with orbmaster(megalance would give him smash but i didnt get a single orbmaster lance) and nia with kosmos sheba and a common ethercannon 24% ether with orbmaster and morag with herald common 21% ether cannon with orb master and vale.. works pretty good and you have 8 orbs in no time .. nice video always looking for new advice/build ideas
mega lance on Zeke I feel is the worst art set in the game, it is way too slow, especially the smash

it has a good art set, but the animations are really drawn out the smash without increase launch duration if you use pandoria to launch, needs to be immediately switched into and used for the smash to go through
while Pandoria's moveset also has this problem to a degree, it is REALLY bad with Mega Lance, honestly Axes and Ether Cannons are all Zeke really has going for him (I have heard he has good Bitball and Hammer but haven't tested them)
EDIT: And as far as Crit Heal Axes goes Nia is probably better, her Crit Recharge art has 3 hits
Got her today on Zeke out of the second rare chrystal used.
She’s pretty good on Zeke. His Great Axe moveset has a Topple in it.

I know this is gonna come off as a super stupid brag but after about 5 or 6 hours of farming for cores the rare blades that I got were KOS-MOS, Dagas and then Zenobia in that order I'm super happy and I don't know how to use them so here I am. Thank you for the guides

zenobia was like my third rare (on 4 and then later overdrived to zeke) and the whole time i used her i was looking up stuff about her because i knew she was busted overpowered lol

When I first got Zenobia, threw her on Zeke, Moon Matter Chip, avant garde medal and hero vambraces in a 2770% full burst with Pyra/Mythra's true form. Boosted total damage from about 4 mil to 9 mil. She might be OP. Just a bit.

Some Kind of Democrat You can get the moon matter chip from the Cloud Sea King Ken superboss after beating the final boss, who is at Tantal lower level during a certain weather condition. You can get avant-garde medals from the World Tree somewhere. And you cam get hero vambraces from the dinosaurs in Temperantia.

It took me a few nights of opening cores before I could get Zenobia. I feel like there should be a rule: after 100+ cores, you should get a guaranteed unique, or something similar. Anything is better than nothing :P

Zenobia and Kos-Mos are my last 2 as well, the real kick in the pants is that when you bond with crystals, you can see Zenobia's sillouhette constantly taunting you before you roll a useless common. At least Kos-Mos lives up to her rarity.

When you consider her heart heart I'd say it's likely by design they play very similar roles and don't necesarilly work very well in the same party.
I unlocked zenobia around chapter 4 and are almost done with her affinity chart; just got kora and am still struggling to get some rare cores for the rest of the blades
Everyone else: Nia gets a topple with Greataxes, and her critical recharge Art hits 3 times. She also gets an Art that does bonus damage to toppled enemies, which you can chain into from the topple art to get the bonus easily. No riskier than what you're doing, and as an added bonus, you can then combine this pair with Sheba to achieve as much overkill as possible.
Wish I had realized sooner how busted Zenobia can be because despite being my second or third rare blade I didn't really start using her until very late in the story. Hopefully I'll have a real good time using her in NG+ when it's out

Zenobia was my first rare blade on Zeke. She basically made Pandoria pretty much useless the entire game lol. It's even funny that one of her lines is "You chose me over Pandoria? Score!"

My last 3 blades are KOS MOS, Dahlia, and Azami. As much as I'd love KOS MOS, the other 2 are making me want to just forget about it for now.

Zenobia was my third to last and Vale was my second to last. We can all guess the LAST one...Regardless, Zenobia is awesome and one of my favs too! Except she always grabs aggro from tanks due to her astronomical damage :s

you put zenobia on the wrong character...she is made to be with zeke because her Art that resets with crits has two quick hits with zeke quicker then morags, she gains topple and has an attack that takes 150 percent more damage on topple....u cut her potiential by alot for not using her on zeke ...good vid non the less

Yup! For this video, Morag had two Strength Modifiers (I believe both were 24%)
While my ether cannon team mates had Ether modifiers (both over 20%)

I got her in chapter 3 from a rare core crystal. I did not even know she was that rare. I use her on Rex though since i don't really where else to put her. Since Nia is my pure healer and i will use Morag as a tank. And you can only use 3 party members per fight. So if i don't use for example Zane which she would be great on i kinda need to put her on rex.

i was very lucky to get Zenobia on my 3rd or 4th Common core crystal cause i wasn't expecting any Rares from Common crystals, so i was also skipping the Awakening Cutscene.
Let me tell you, when i looked away for one second and then looked back and Saw this Axe-Wielding, fight-loving, Sexy looking Zenobia on the summon Results, I literally couldn't believe it.
I usually have the worst luck when it comes to trying to get specific characters. This time, i think the opposite happened cause like i said, i wasn't expecting to get any Rare Blades from common core crystals. I don't know if the Gaming Gods took pity on me or what, but Zenobia made just about all the story fights, and the boss fights in Gormott literally a cakewalk.
Abd Did i mention this happened a day before i got Season pass DLC? So no option to "turn off" the enemy hostility til the DLC got released.
(This is going on for awhile, i know, but this is what made sure i kept playing til the Dlc came out) Zenobia must have been a sign for me to not stop playing. Lemme just say, she left my Blade setup since i got her. She saved my ass more times than i died trying to fight that DAMN GIANT APE (in both Xenoblade 1 and 2)

Same, I opened my legendary core from DLC with Rex. Still learning the game... But right now I find pyra more useful as Zenobia is slow with auto attack but I like being able to switch blades to just spam Arts. I'm sure it'll be better when her affinity chart improved
If u ask me Sheba is by far the most broken of the blades with the correct setup. Mines doing 4-5 times the dmg compared to the rest of my blades. Her dmg modifiers are insane.

puls nat you can't do it during a chain attack only before or after, and if Rex is AI controlled you can manually activate it from the menu that appears when you hold R and then press X also make sure that Rex have gold affinity stream and full party gauge and that Rex's blade he's currently fighting with is pyra/mythra

Challenge mode usage like Fiora and telos
Do the AI controlled characters not swap between the generic blades and camp on Herald/KOS-MOS throughout the whole fight? Are there factors the AI considers like damage output that makes them use the strongest one?
MegaNerdNerdus they only do when you set up a Blade Combo or Driver Combo.

I'd just open them all, although I personally got all of my Unique Blades from Rare Cores due to how common they are. Don't forget to equip luck % modifier blades if you have them!

The only blades I've yet to unlock are Floren and Kassandra.
I got KOS-MOS. I got T-elos. I've got Zenobia. Heck, I almost have T-elos' Affinity Chart all maxed out- I even have the stupid 6,000 jumps requirement meant!
... But I just can't get Floren or Kass to appear.
OtterloopB you get actually get kassandra pretty easily by defeating a unique monster from a salvaging point it will always drop her lucky core crystal

I think people would consider her best on Zeke due to the fact he has the highest strength stat, but she functions well on everyone regardless.
As for KOS-MOS, I overdrived her to Nia for the above reason: I wanted to get as much Ether Damage as possible out of her.

Zeke and Nia have Burst Symbols and Optical Headbands, to maximize chain attack damage output.
The AI's like to stay on blades when the opportunity to create an elemental orb arises, so Lightning and Light Blades tend to stick around on the field longer if you have a Photon applied. I believe AI also prioritizes based on potential damage output.

are you trolling or serious?
A year late, but you start the merc mission, then go to the west side of the Goldmouth Flight Deck in Argentum to meet up with Zenobia. You have to have Pyra/Mythra in your party as well.
All the Rare Blade's Quests that start via Merc Missions are similar: they are marked with ??:??:?? completion time, and you have to go meet up with them wherever specified in the merc mission.
What'd you even do to get her? Because i am struggeling to get her...while trying to get her i got kosmos though😂

Objectively speaking. Poppi QTPi is the best blade in the game.
Kosmos is the best, QTPI is 2nd best when maxed out, Zenobia is 3rd best (2nd best if QTPI is not maxed)
Bloodwolf1995 QTPI can beat any boss in under a minute if you use her with Adenine and Dagas. Kos Mos can't do that :P
Kosmos can literally 2 shot any superboss in the game, and 1 shot anything lower than that, so idk what you're talking about lmao.

What are the best core chips in the game (in your opinion) and how do you get them?
The way I see it, all the best chips are from the superbosses.
- Tachyon chips if you want high auto-attack damage
- Moon Matter chips if you need the highest critical chance
- Dilation if you're a block-based tank (shieldhammer, Poppi Alpha)
- Gold chips, while not insanely powerful, are very important for farming due to the fact that they increase item discovery rates.
These are the ones I've been using for these videos, but I'm pretty sure certain builds benefit from other chips (that aren't on this list) even more.

Oh man, I feel so bad, I got Zenobia on Zeke and never even used Zeke for the entire game. I still don't use Zeke, I had Rex borrow Zenobia and used her only for the Launch Rex gets with Axe users. which is totally bad because she's wind element and so is Roc, Rex's only Smash Option. I wouldn't have to use Roc if Tora would switch off QTpie to do the smash with QT, but he just won't switch ever. He won't even switch off to alpha when I need him to finish an Orb. I need a better setup to do smash combos. and a better setup to make orbs. How can I get both at once?
you get another weapon option for rex that has launch later.
Yeah, but you don't get any other smash options. The only smash options I see are Roc with Rex, Poppi QT's Smash, Spears with Zeke and Morag, and Katana with Morag.
I suppose I could try and switch it up, but I still can't see a better Smash than Roc, and I don't want to rely on bad AI for the smash.
I would have to stack Topple axes on Zeke and Launch Knuckles on Nia and play Tora for both the PoppiQTpie Break and PoppiQT Smash myself.

In this video, I used the Moon Matter Chip because it gives the highest Crit Chance out of all the chips. You can loot it from Cloud Sea King Ken.
Nn Li You can loot those easily off the Parisax Queen boss in the Land of Morytha as well.
DMD00. I know im late, but I'm pretty sure that the chip dropped from the queen is the DARK matter chip

The Game Cube Rex has launch with it, so it’s potentially better.
You could use her on Rex if you prefer, but Zeke is ideal for raw damage because he has the biggest base strength stat whereas Rex has slightly above average stats all around.

Leonardo Pantano hmmm i guess there are auto attack strength builds if you dont mind spending 10mins auto attacking a boss to death. Thats a good questions. Idk the good thing about crit is that it heals and does extra damage.
Uhh... No, Fiora is a Healer and she has Crit Healing when engaged to Rex.

Zeke von Genbu, Bringer of Chaos, And the Eye of Shining Justice.
She's great until you get significantly into the post game, then falls off very hard to the point where she's one of the worst blades because she only has two hits on her level 1 and one hit on her level 2 specials, so her damage during late post game chain attacks is pathetic.
Kind of ironic that her abilities seem perfectly set up for fighting the superbosses only to finally get there and have her do shit damage compared to most other damage options. Everyone else is doing millions per attack during a chain attack and here's Zenobia doing less than half of the mediocre blades.
You should max out there affinity chart before showcasing them.
Don't have to: the only ones I maxed out are the ones that I used (i.e. Lv.3 special, all passive combat skills).
Field skills and the first two specials didn't factor, since the damage of the first two specials have nothing to do with rank.
some of these blades are just too op. The game ain't that fun when you just have ultimate Poppis, S+ Mythra, and S+ Zenobia. Who needs healer or tank type blades anyway? Crit heal medals are also too op. I shouldn't be able to use one blade on each driver (sometimes just one driver) and face tank beat a super boss.

I think you need to send her on the mission and then go to the location in Argentum (second floor balcony, outdoors?) and there will be a cutscene.
