    _______________________________
    In this clip, Twista spoke about being in the Guinness Book of World Records for his rapping abilities. From there, Twista gave an example of a fast verse, then broke it down by rapping it slow. He noted that it’s difficult to rap some of his fast verses slow because of the mindset he was in to come up with those bars. He described it as surfing through the beat. From there, Twista shouted out the newer artists he feels are carrying the torch for faster rapping.

      @lucifermorningstar6169 Před 5 lety +5

      @@vindicatino skill is a matter of opinion which is inheritly subjective.
      Everyone has a different variant of talent whether or not we like them. Some maybe more than others. But even if unskilled in technique they are definately skilled at standing in front of a crowd which most people wont ever or cant do.
      Song collaborations blow up more than anything because even if theres a "untalented artist" the unison and energy they can produce is powerful.
      If your able to emotionally affect people musically you have a level of skill, even if its not a sound others enjoy.
      I hate country but some of those artists are talented, even though i dont like them.
      Nikki manaj pisses me off and i can't stand her but she can stand in front of a crowd and act a persona and somewhat emotionally affect a crowd, which even though it pains me to say is a skill.
      Thats the perspective of a growth industry. The other perspective is a self destructive violence fueled industry. Nobody can technically define music as its all subjective.
      We should build on each other musically not musically tear down others.

These days you got fake ass rappers. A bunch of wannabe musicians who don't do it for the creative aspect. They do it for the greed. And it's because of that greed that they have no respect for anything or anyone. It's sad what such a powerful genre has turned into. And I know people will be like times change you know music evolves. But evolving was being 80s rap in the 2000s rap. What's happened since about 2008 or so is devolution of the genre.
