Headlining Carney Fest 2024 is Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs. Mike Campbell was a member, architect, and co-captain of the Heartbreakers, a band he co-founded with Tom Petty, whom he met in a Gainesville, Florida carport in 1972. As lead guitarist, Campbell co-wrote many of the Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers hits and also co-produced many of their albums - in addition to penning songs for Don Henley (“Boys of Summer”), Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks and playing on records by Aretha Franklin, Roy Orbison, and Johnny Cash.
Carney Fest 2024 will also feature a live performance by Ann Bell and the Tulsa Sound! With roots embedded in the soulful landscape of Tulsa, Ann Bell's music is a reflection of the region's rich cultural tapestry. Beyond her undeniable talent, Ann Bell's connection to Leon Russell and the Tulsa Sound adds layers of depth to her storytelling and performance.

The Church Studio is a historic recording studio that was built in 1915 as Grace M.E. Church. It came to life in 1972 when Leon Russell, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award-winning artist, purchased the old church and turned it into an analog recording studio and home office to Shelter Records. Teresa Knox, a Leon Russell fan and Tulsa native, purchased The Church Studio and has brought it back to life as a professional analog and digital recording studio, event center, audio engineering school, entertainment network, and home to The Church Studio Archive.
