Hotpoint/Indesit tumble dryer not draining- how to replace impeller

The impeller eventually gets shredded. Some recommend replacing the entire unit but it's fairly easy to disassemble the housing and replace.
The plastic clips on the pump housing are very brittle and may break. Be very careful and patient.
