Protect the children please
Why are there so much emphasis on celebrating sexuality. Theres real problems in SF. This is a waste of time and city resources.
I see it as supporting a segment of the population who feels vulnerable and who can be targeting for harassment or violence just for being who they are. As a Christian and as a Mom, I do it for all the kids who may feel like killing themselves right now, this very moment, just for being different. Judgment is the Lord’s. Not for us. Our commandment from Jesus is to “love they neighbor”.
"Purpose of harassment"? How can a homosexual (a representative of a weak minority) become an object of harassment by the heterosexual majority? Heterosexuals will suddenly start harassing homosexuals? It's strange, because so far, as a heterosexual person (a man who has been working with victims of crimes and sexual abuse for a very long time), I have never encountered a situation of a homosexual person being harassed by a heterosexual person of the same sex. However, I have always only encountered heterosexual people being harassed by homosexuals (homosexuals by homosexuals, heterosexuals by heterosexuals, etc.), and it happened to me (f.e.) for the first time when I was about 5 years old. I have never, ever been molested by a heterosexual man, and I have never heard of a heterosexual man molesting a gay man or a heterosexual woman molesting a lesbian. Tell your mother and father such nonsense and practice your manipulations on them!
I would accept such an explanation if it was about protecting mentally ill or intellectually disabled people, who are very often victims of both heterosexual and homosexual harassment.
Stop twisting Jesus' teachings too!
@@jjsmama401 Christianity forces you to live and see life a certain way. We're all children of what and or who we call God. Judgement is not a job of God,nor it is of man. Why judge me for wanting more focus on becoming a better city? I didn't judge anyone's sexuality preference.

How about doing it for all the poor kids in the Midwest who get killed for just being who they are.
