Suggestion.....you should definitely pull the lyrics up when you start from the beginning. Lyrics videos are sometimes wrong and don't have the correct words so Google the lyrics and read along when listening. The lyrics are powerful and it will help you with the journey. Here’s some fun facts, Vessel not only studied music but chemistry as well. I’ve recently learned that our dna is made up of frequencies. Vessel undoubtedly knows this and that why his instrumentations are so powerful. It literally affects our dna. The man is a genius, it’s nice to see him finally getting the recognition he deserves after 8 years and a previous band. yeah personally i think there one or two bands that ive listened to EVERY one of their songs, the rest are just a handful that i have come accross that are in my playlists, i do want to discover more of the bands i know i like but i only know the famous songs nd such
Ok, so a quick comment trying to get you across everything.. apologies if others have already done this TMBTE the album is the end of a trilogy. I was fortunate enough to experience the first album (Sundowning) a year or so before This Place Will Become Your Tomb came out, and was along for the full ride. So when TMBTE (the song) kicked into the first distortion section, I knew that high note was coming before it happened, and it was so awesome when it did. We only got 6 songs released off TMBTE before the album was released, and the first full album review I read a couple days before general release described Rain as 'a typical straight forward Sleep Token song' which is kinda true, but we all know that in itself means it's going to be awesome, and it is. This 3rd album gave us some new stuff (you'll love Ascensionism), but at some stage (definitely before listening to Euclid), you should start at the start. Your dissection of the 3 tracks so far tells me you're going to very much enjoy the journey, and it seems my new hobby is watching everyone else discover Sleep Token for the first time. I don't know if you necessarily need to react to each track from start to finish, but do yourself a favour and listen to the first couple of tracks off Sundowning soon either way. i prefer if you go at your own pace and check out songs you wish to check out BUT listen to The Night Does Not Belong To God before Euclid listen to Give before Gods it has so much impact i promise
Definitely keep in mind that genres mean nothing to Vessel/ST. It’s only one part of what makes this band unique and down right genius! If you like this song, you are in for a treat with the song “Ascensionism” off of TMBTE album. Worship!!!
