  • These seat backing are a little different then the previous models. The previous models you removed bolts from the floor and pulled the whole seat. These new trucks you pull the seat back only. It’s good but if you don’t know how to do the first one this video will help. In this video I point out the things you need to do to remove the rear seat on 2019-2024 Chevrolet and GMC pickups. Once you know what to do it’s not so challenging. Most often in the glass trade you are pulling the seat to replace or remove the rear sliding window and you have to disconnect the motor for the center sliding glass. Hope this video is helpful.

Holy cow. Thats the best comment on a video I’ve done yet. I really appreciate the feedback. I’ve been doing auto glass since 1998 and really enjoy what I do. So glad you found this video and it helped out.

How do you put the headrest holders back in? I’m having an issue with that

They line up a particular way. I have noticed after doing many of these that there is a variety of these headrest holders. Some of them have a flat edge and it faces toward the back of the cab toward the glass. Otherwise look at the stem of it if you will and there is a notch that lines up with the hole that it goes in. Just push to snap in. I should have demonstrated how it goes back together. Thanks for the feedback
