I know that 2.5L V6 doesn’t have that much power at 204 HP but if you don’t care about that and just want a comfortable ride that is still sporty, this IS 250 is a good choice. Plus that V6 will last year an eternity as expected from Lexus.
204hp is plenty
@@DMCarReviews pretty much the same amount of power as the current RAV4 with the 2.5L 4 cylinder, so plenty of power for just normal street driving.
Actually this 2.5 engine have problematic carbon buildup because it only have direct fuel injetcion, the 350 is a better buy with plenty more power and port/direct fuel injection that eliminates this issue. But i also seen some ppl with a lot of miles on this 250.
I just bought a 2006 Lexus is 250 with only 9900 miles on it. I am in love with this car ❤️☺️😘
Very nice!
I’ve had a couple IS350s and can’t get enough of them. Ultimately I want an ISF to be the “forever” car.
Love these cars, I have an 09’ IS 250 6MT. Very fun to drive!
Very cool!
I’m buying this soon, I’m so excited
yay
Good review
Thank you!
Lexus v6 engines are amazing to drive and indestructible.
That is very true!
Luxury car
Nice colour, I have the green one, love my is250, had an is200 before, was also a great car runned without any problems
Nice!
I LOVED the styling on this IS. The new one is nice too, but in a different way. This was it though.
This was great!
經典車
I want to buy one in Poland but it's hard to find one in good condition
The second gen is250 has a lot of features even cars now don’t have… mine has Auto Unlock and if you hold the unlock key it rolls all the windows down for those hot days.
Eh more of a gimmick, you can't remotely close them back up.
@@epicsnowleapard that’s why I said it’s for a hot day 😭you do it before you get to your car to try and let the hot air out… it’s not to just roll them all down for show
@@tillmanscott7551 my dad's 2006 altima had that.
@@tillmanscott7551yep I used to do too.
did you say the is350 is better for a taller person?
ES350
My first car is a 2006 Lexus is250 with 228,000 miles
How does a g37 ride and handle compared to this?
Ride is similar, but I do prefer the handling in the Lexus.
Should of hit the ect power button. Makes the throttle more responsive and the gears rev out more.
liar
@@b58forever It does. It also revs out to redline in first gear with full throttle instead of changing earlier.
@@jamest6850 ok but i dont think that will make the car faster at any point
@@b58foreverIt won't make it faster
Never said it would but it makes it feel more responsive and u don't have to dig into the pedal as much to get a downshift in drive.
They're fantastic cars but small. The ES is definitely better. But for a superb reliable daily driver, this is a fantastic buy
I liked the IS more than the ES. It's not a fwd biased car like the ES.
the GS is what your looking for, essentially a bigger IS and is more luxurious than the ES. Sporty drive and solid build
Do a 2009 Honda Accord V6 coupe
Will try to find one!
How does it handle compare to a 2015 E350
Very similar actually. The E350 does feel more planted at higher speeds.
@@DMCarReviews ok thanks
Is350 rides even better and is a lot quicker
I think they ride the same, but the IS350 is quicker.
The highway ride feel of the IS250 is identical too that of IS350.. .
Cause the is350 has a 3.5 liter V6 and this one has a 2.5 liter v6
@@MysterANTsuspension between the models is identical
@@hayden93 yeah but 100 hp difference, I’d still get an is250, my buddy just got one and just got it fully detailed
The paddles work great? I think you're being nice lol.
They do work great! They may not be as responsive as in the sporty sedans today, but they still work well and respond quickly.
My is350 is quicker but giving me problems compared to my brothers is250. His I consider a real Toyota
My God the Door Cards are abhorrent 🥲
