As a teenager he asked me to spot him with 415 on the bar. I said, " I can't lift that. He said, yeah you can" and made me spot him. Another time I was sitting at the leg press trying to get psyched up for a heavy lift, but wasn't feeling it. I was just sitting there. He said "It ain't going to lift itself" then I had to do it because he was watching.
