Nah this take is dumb, the devs 100% intended for players to find insane solutions for stuff. That was like 99% of the shrines in BoTW, there was an obvious “correct” solution but they left enough stuff around so that you could find multiple ways to solve one puzzle

And i think its easier. I havent tested it but it looks simple. The flying machine from the first part is really hard since you have to keep the balance perfect or the cart will flip over really fast

How do you do this one?
GLITCH CAN ONLY BE DONE ONCE unless you backsave.
1) go to riverside stable, talk to the hylian & Goron left side facing the front. They disappear once you speak to them so make a save file prior.
2) Place a wing/cart down (works on MANY other things too) Put it close enough to them so you can speak to them.
3) when talking to them, the cutscene despawns your vehicle and moves it to the side. This is what causes the glitch.
Now your vehicle cannot be moved with ultrahand. It is stuck.
4) place ANY item/food/weapon on your vehicle.
5) ultrahand the item/food/weapon and enjoy flying around. It’s insane lol.

@Leo Da Random Ginger when you throw any crafted weapon/tool into shimmer, it gives you back the crafting materials you used to make it. If you craft it again, you can get a random modifier. If you keep doing this, you won't ever have to give that stupid goblin your money again! Only exception is non-craftable items.
Star fragment looks really cool with it.
Next gen I hope they make an even bigger and even more complex Zelda.
The amount of stuff to do and the amount of exploitable mechanics and building in this game is amazing....
Botw was definitely a demo. A polish game but a game to build upon over the next decade
@@hued2542botw was not just a demo, it’s just that totk massively overshadowed it as it was in development from the end of botw’s development (early 2017) to early 2023. that’s about the same amount of time botw was in development for, except they already had the base game and thousands of assets completed. botw was not just a demo, this is as someone who as 330 hrs in botw and 140 in totk
As someone who absolutely loves this game, I will say one thing: I hope they make a better console to handle it first. They did a good job optimizing the game for outdated hardware, but there are still frame drops and the graphics can sometimes leave a lot to be desired

After seeing how they expanded the world in TotK and I thought “where do they go from here?”, I think maybe after letting us go up into the sky and down into the depths, they’ve expanded our space to play in so much. The only way to expand more is to mess with time. So a game that lets you time travel to different periods, like back to the past to when Zonai and Sheikah technology was in it’s golden age, and onward to a future that’s… who knows? A little bit of a Chrono Trigger vibe would be a cool way to go. After all in TotK they’re really elaborating on Zelda’s time power already. So maybe she will be messing around with her time powers, she’ll break the fabric of time somehow and portals to the past and future will appear all over.

I like how they tried to stop us from flying like that but we can still fly like that
I’ve found that making a wall out of sleds/carts or other flat items will work like and actual physical wall. Get a Lv 1 stealth buff (or more), use ultra hand to hold it in front of you. As long as the wall it pointed at your enemy, they can’t see you. They immediately become passive. You can literally stand inches from them, but as long as their direct line of sight is blocked, your safe.
There's a quest in Terrey Town that requires you to do this very thing to block an NPC's line of sight. Seems obvious it would work with enemies as well.
I built a laser array with a little blind made of sleds and a stake. Place it anywhere, and the enemy only aggros the lasers, while you hide behind it. 😂 I’ve cleaned out so many mining camps this way.

lol yeah I made a box and have been sneaking through places like solid snake ever since the Terry Town quest. it can get tricky on uneven ground
This reminds me of the other glitch where you can use autobuild to build something yet keep it floating infront of you like its in the autobuild menu and if you manage to hop on it it will send you rocketing forward like this and you can steer it by just looking to where you want to go

Yet this is more fun that all I could ever imagine.

another infinite flight glitch/trick is just to attach fans and a steering stick to a non despawning object (like a piece of wood) and when you run low on energy just recall, instantly stop it and repeat because while it is recalling you regen battery
Any reason you can't do it with a regular zonaite creation?
the fans will disappear after enough use. I discovered this while flying through the depths for about an hour.

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like he's attaching a star fragment to the front of a wing, then manipulating the star fragment with ultrahand while standing on the wing. I'm guessing the extra wings on the sides are to improve stability and I think the other star fragments are just for effect but that's just what I can see

AFAIK by reading the comments here, this is a glitched wing, you gitch it with 2 npcs, the glitch makes the wing not movable with ultra hand, but you can still attatch things to it. So you are lifting a movable object atattached to non movable, and the game allows this bc it things you are not standing on something ultra handable

This is more or less how the few working flying machines in BotW worked. Throw a cube under a minecart, stand on the minecart and magnesis the cube, since you can't magnesis something you're standing on. Funny that they tried removing that exploit but you can apparently still ultrahand star fragments attached to what you're standing on, though.

how the hell they store the data for the recall ability, without loosing otimization, that must be a clever way, because is not only the objects that link interact, with almost everything that moves in view or not, HOW, and on switch?
Well, I think the hardest part for a game on switch is not the game itself but the optimization and Nintendo is chad about this
Recall ability only keeps data like index, not like the whole objects in memory.
If you noticed there are only several spots where you can attach object, so at the end of the day you store data like this:

Numbers are the actual objects like: 1,wing 2,rocket 3,rocket
is the actually attached slot.
(also add the rotation to those)
That's an easy one, the most sophisticated thing imho is how they manipulating level streaming (navigate to world without loading).
Ofc they achieve that with several inputs like position, fov (field of view) and so on, but still this is an amazing engineer achievement !
Nintendo always surprise us, from controller inputs to gameplay mechanics etc :)

@@despell I mean, they still saves a lot of indexes that the player didnt even see or interect with, and how they manipulate the memory without overloading it. I`m not a expert in game development, I don`t know if its a simple thing to do, but this game made me wonder the engineering of the games

Nope. There's 2 NPCs in Riverside, a goron and a hylian. Sometimes they're there, sometimes in lookout landing, sometimes not there, and sometimes you already talked to them so you can't do it. If you talk to them while standing on a cart/wing/whatever, then it becomes glitched.
