    Lovely video! As a Fuji Wildlife shooter, I'm so happy that I came across this small channel. Definitely deserves more love and recognition. Looking forward to more videos from you in the future. So happy you got to see the kingfisher!!

    Incredible photographs, command of English language, music, and, most important, the way you formulate your thoughts. Thank you for respecting me as your viewer.

    Good work Wayne. I too am a Fuji shooter with the same set up. Have seen Kingfishers recently but yet to get a shot. Easier said than done.

      Thanks Tim! I agree that getting good images of a Kingfisher in its natural environment can be challenging. Good luck!

    Excellent video Wayne! I've got same set up, and am obsessed with getting KF shots. Wow, they're fast, and tricky to capture! No matter how well I'm hiding in the bushes, with camo on, they still spot me!! Tricky little dudes! I can hardly wait until Fuji comes out with a 400 prim, f2.8 or f4, for those low light conditions. But the Fuji 150-600 does work excellent.

      Thanks Steven! Yes they are beautiful birds but they can be tricky to photograph in their natural environment.

    Lovely photos of Kingfisher. Shame you couldn't have made the backgrounds a little more blurry.

    Hello Robert, great video, greetings from Costa Rica. Bro I'm thinking to get this combo for wildlife but some professionals told me about this combo doesn't work in low light conditions very well. Is it true? What about the new update the autofocus work well?

      @WayneRobertsonPhotography  Před 9 měsíci

      Hi and thanks for watching! I find the autofocus works well in the camera with this lens. As for low light it really depends how low and what your subject is doing in terms of movement speed. I’ve taken plenty successful photos in low light with this combination however a faster lens is optimal. If I was in very low light trying to shoot a fast moving subject a faster lens would be my choice. But of course they are more expensive if they offer a long focal length!

    Did you like xh2s’s subject tracking. Is it enough for small animals and fast subjects like a martin bird

    • @WayneRobertsonPhotography
      @WayneRobertsonPhotography  Před 9 měsíci

      Yes I like the tracking I find it effective in many situations but of course not every situation. I’ve used it to track small fast birds effectively.
