- Spiceworld rolls into Toronto in '97 and of course the girls love 299 Queen Street West.
Retrontario’s primary mission is the preservation, research and exhibition of rare videotape recordings (1970s to 1990s) recorded off of any and all Ontario (and surrounding area) TV channels; footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. Yeah, lied through her teeth. Simon Cowell put an ad out for female singers, interviewed many, and assembled the band. It was Simon's idea to create a girl band group and to call them the Spice Girls. There's videos on CZcams from Simon during the whole casting audition for the "Spice Girls"
no they were put together by chris herbert, then left him and managed themselves and wrote a lot of songs etc until they were ready to look for new management, and then signed with simon fuller.. simon cowell never played a part in the creation of the spice girls@@Doofus171
