My dears, in my videos I try to convey the topics as detailed and yet compressed as possible. But please accept that I cannot give individual medical advice on the Internet (see also channel info). On the one hand that is not legally acceptable, but would not be possible and serious on the other hand, because I have not seen your skin and can not know your individual medical/cosmetic findings. Please contact a dermatologist in your area if needed. Lots of love Juliane ♥

Hi I have been looking for information about how to treat sensitive skin, I personally have allergies towards perfume and different pollens, and find skincare very difficult, since most products harms more than helps. Since I’m surly not the only one with these issues, I was wondering if you would make a video on the subject? If you have any expert advice to give, that is. Thank you😇

1. Use cleansing products that balances ur ph of skin
2.Dont put on oily care cream products
3 .carry oil blotting sheets
4.avoid oily based makeup
5.wash off makeup at night
6. limit consuming dairy products
7. reduce the consumption of sugary products

9.ask experts about lasers or medical peels before undergoing it
10 apply thin layer of drying zinc oxide lotion from time to time
Thank you 🥺❤️
Thx
Nice sum up Maya. Thank you.
I do all those things but without zinc, because I found drying things even clay masks are leaving my pores like empty dried out stretched out holes. I still have straberry nose, but its better and for me too much sticky sebum, large pores comes from too high testosterone, PCOS. So I try to heal inside out and not overdo with skincare. Im washing with warm and cold water, honey and using cosrx glycolic acid 7% toner.
MVP. Thank you :)
1.use natural cleanser
2. No cream/use sunblock when u r under sun
3. Use a oil absorption paper

Hello Doctor, I read that retinol and VITAMIN C are good for minimizing pores, what’s your opinion?
Dr. you have a new subscriber! Thank you for the well-intended, educated, and super-helpful information. Your channel is AMAZING!!
Thank you very much, Luiz, for your wonderful compliment 🤗!
Thank you.... This was a no nonsense straight to the point and scientific video.... I really appreciate the advice 👍😊
You look stunning 😍
Thanks for all the Tipps! I learned a lot ☺️
As far I know..1. Cleansing products should be good
2. Sunscreen is must.
3. Use Wipes to clean in day time
4. moisturize your skin regularly
Wipes contain alcohol or sometimes harmful chemicals to restore its moisture though and can stretch your pores overtime.
Veena Madhuri maybe your skin is just really nice bc wipes are bad in general for pores & wrinkles even with organic ingredients
Hi ! Thanks for the tips. Can you advise something that's available in india. Any alternative to MARIO BADESCU drying lotion.
I am not able to even understand the ingredients.
Number 2: Large pores or white of blackheads on my nose... Please help me
I have two or three huge pores on my nose, they basically look like ice pick marks. Nothing shifts them. I'm going to have to get them lasered or sth.
A lot of it is down to genetics tbh. I have large pores and have done since hitting puberty. My entire family also has very large pores. I don't think any amount of skin care is going to reduce them for me.
i know this was 2 years ago but if you see this doctor please respond i need to know if i can still use a my face wash or face masks
I’ve got super oily skin and massive pores especially on my nose. Looks rank 🤮 I don’t think there is anything that can be done to truly help this but I will keep trying
You can use pimple popping tools! They helped me a lot during my skincare routine at night. (There’s videos on how you to safely extract black heads/ white heads )
By focusing not only on changing the ph of your skin on with a temporary fix like expensive products change the internal ph of your entire body by changing what you are putting in your body.
@@tigermomsmith1478 it’s how my skin naturally is, I’m not sure how I can change it. What do you suggest?

I'm not oily but it also depends on the temperature. I really think I have a normal type of skin but when I was in elementary I had blackheads and whiteheads around my cheeks the part on the side pf the nose. I removed it but it left me with stretched pores:((

Julie, very worthwhile viewing. Thank you!
I am really happy about your comment as it reflects to me that my info is helpful to you. Thank you!
Love her accent, she's lovely.
She say not to put moisturizer on your nose? What about Retin A products?
My skin isn’t oily. It’s actually dry. I used to use clean and clear and it stripped my skin of the natural oils and so I had an overproduction of sebum. What can I do?
Oh really I hate that product too. I used it once and my skin got freaking dry. From that day I never use that product.
I would suggest you use a mild cleanser with no parabens and steam your face once a month to loosen the dirt in your pores x
i think you have Seborrhoea sicca meaning dry skin that is still fatty. I have the same and Dr. Julie made a video about it, however i only saw it in german. summary is: do not use any rich creams but gel based creams/lotions that spend lots of moisture for your skin (those you can also apply on the nose). The creams/lotions can also content stuff to reduce pimples and they should contain something to reduce fat production in the cells. this will also dry your skin out and if the creams/lotions themselves are not purely meant for moisturization you probalby need a something that gives the skin extra moisture, e.g. like a hyaloronan serum. I use the one from KU2 cosmetics and am pretty happy with it so far. also take care that the products are not comedogenic and that they have ph 4-5,5. also peel you skin like twice a week (do not use harsh particles like salt/sugar btw, she made vids about that too). good luck
ps: if you have mixed skin so only the t-zone is fatty only do all this stuff there. on the other parts of the face you can still use a rich creame, especially in winter
My pores are opening in age 16 . Does it happens with u too?
@@TheKing-mm8bi i'm 16, i have pores in my cheeks, this is my biggest insecurity but i somehow managed to get rid of my pimples and blackheads by using oxecure (a soap designed to get rid of pimples) and cetaphil to rehydrate & moisturize my face after using a soap that dries your face, i also used stripping mask for my nose that gets rid of blackheads...
Thanks for this info DRA. 😍
I have rather oily skin and i use jojba oil and i find it helps because I heard it as a pretty similiar composition to sebum

Truly the only way help your skin is to see a dermatologist. I tried so many years of using products that worked for my friends. Some things I used were so wrong for my acne I caused damage to myself. Not until my 40s did I make the decision to see a Dermatologist. I was told about MY skin and what was going on. He was very straight forward and let me know I was making my condition worse by following magazine articles and friends advice. It’s a learning experience and I’ve learned a lot. Trying to help others in the quest for better skin. I can walk out in the day and not feel self conscious. Dermatologists are not fancy. Don’t feel awkward
Get a dermabrasion or microdermabrasion . it is a process of mechanical exfoliation which removes the top epidermic layer which is damaged and exposes the healthy fleshy skin. Sort of like a baby's butt. Don't go out to the sun after MD. Cover your face with gauge and stay inside for 1 week. Don't apply soap or cleansing facewash. Do sweat exercise and always use tissue paper after washing face.
John Vandam I’m afraid. I have older skin.

What are your views about Korean skin care ? 7 step regime ?
Dr.Julie can aloe vera gel remove blackheads?
What brand can you recommend?
The skin on my face and nose has been oily as long as I can remember as a kid and teenager. I'm almost 58 & I don't like how I will go to sleep and wake up with several pimples on my clean face and neck. I used Retin A when I was 21 for a couple of years and wanted to know if it would help me know? Plus anything not to make my pores so visible from anyone as close as 3 ft away.
la Quetta Ray, retin A is a good choice and please see a dermatologist to get individual help. Best regards!

Hi Dr. Julie, what do you think about biore strips for the nose and face?

Great video, thank you!
I do TCA peels and exfoliate in between peels and use salicylic acid toner at night then moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. I have the best skin I've ever had in my life BUT my pores still get clogged and I get blackheads on my nose. I'm banging my head on the wall.
Can you give me your step by step please? I'm lost and don't know what to do especially since I have oil skin.
@@KatieCatWalker I can help give some guidance, for sure, but what are the top concerns you have about your skin? That would help narrow down what to look for and work with, as far products and as a regimen.
Same here 😔 I don’t know what to do with my nose
Your overall skin could be looking good and healthy, but for example your nose or chin are way different and therefore they produce so much sebum (oil) that the pores on your nose or chin will allways face this matter of being clogged.. oil needs to be cleaned and dried out. Facial masks which contain clay like french clay which contain bentonite, are actually really able to "suck" the oil straight out of your pores. Other skin care products won't, because they mostly contain ingredients to 'feed' your skin or to cleanse, instead of sucking the oil. You see that's why you should never apply creams or serums onto your nose or chin because they contain oils anyhow.. !
@@mosquito3651 OMG!! You are so awesome for that info!!! I search online articles to figure out what the heck is going on and you just summed it up right there and so well!! Thank you ever so much!!! I want to ask you more questions now, lol!! So when you say products and serums would that mean not to put retinoids on the nose and chin area? I have noticed that retinol 2% applied at night and covered with hyaluronic acid serum on my nose and chin does nothing for me at all. Oddly, hydroquinone cream, Porcelana, found a my local pharmacy for like $6 works really, really well to use as a mask when I go to bed at night (like once a week) I have no blackheads after that but I can't find anything online in regards to how that even works so I may be using something that you said dries out the pores instead but ok now I need to go look at the French clay masks!!!

Please see a dermatologist, as from the distance and not knowing your skin, giving personal advices would not be professional. Best regards! And in addition you may take
Advantage of professional facials to have removed the debris in the enlarged
pores
What about getting rid of a cyst
I know it helps if we do a lot of care but it's very complicated and energy consuming but doesn't work as much as we work for it at the end of the day everything is the same so mate be cool with what you got it will heal by time 😊
I don't understand why after I turned 50 my pores on my face and nose keeps getting larger. When I was younger I could see black heads and pimples of course, but after I turned 50 they seem to keep getting bigger and bigger. Same thing I've noticed on my mother. When she was younger a black head kept coming back in the same place and still does, but her pores were not so prominent. I want to shrink my pores. I'm paranoid about anyone being close enough to see my pores when before they weren't noticeable.
La Quetta Ray it’s normal bcs women in their pre-post menopause are lack of collagen. that’s cause the skin keep shaggy. upgrade your skincare (topical and oral)
But what if you have very dry nose and it’s always peeling dry skin & only thing is to put cream on it to keep it moisturized
Estera Joey labau try vitamin e capsule or jojoba oil
I have got exactly a same problem
Estera Joey Labau, it would be best to get your skin analyzed first. Please see a dermatologist, and there is a video on this channel on how to find out your skintype, too. Peeling skin does not indicate dry skin automatically :-)
I have a movie coming up & im not sure if it’s because my diet changed or what but the pores on my nose became visible. Is there a radical way to minimize quickly?

I do not have large pores on my nose. ONLY ON MY CHEEKS. it is very frustrating. I'm going to try to do things in the video. Like less sugar and milk and the night cream!

Hi I'm a 20 year old female who has noticed a little fine line around 1cm on my forehead. It was defintly not there before as i am a very observative person, notice the little things and therefore would of noticed it. Its really really small such as that no one would notice it. Only i can notice it when i look close up at my face however its defintly there but really small. Further on I am of pakistani ethnicity and my skin is medium brown. I was wondering what would be the best treatment for me to remove this tiny fine line. Further on how long will the results from the treatment last. It's a fine line and not even a noticeable one nor a deep wrinkle so i was hoping the results from a treatment will last years and years considering i am only 20. Thanks in advance.
i have these very large whitehead like bumps on my nose. im not sure if they are whiteheads but they are very big and very obvious when you get near me. can sometimes please tell me what these are?

Maybe your hormones were acting up and the timing just lined up like that. Or clogged pores, you didn't rinse it properly OR your skin is sensitive. I nearly cannot put anything on my face or it will break out like that. Even if you can eat the food your skin maybe still can't handle it. Does it clear up after you stop? What does ur dermatologist say about it?
you are using it too often, it dries up your skin then your pores look bigger
It's bcz you didn't close your pores after. Some ice water could close them.
How can I not put care cream when in the same area I have dehydrated skin because of the rosacea?
Use oil free...?
You are so nice that I had to log in and like and subscribe.
Is cetaphil gentle skin cleanser good for acne prone or oily skin? Hoping you could answer. I also wish to be a dermatologist someday. Thank you.
Lady Ada Maminta, I do not rate other products negatively, because I want to bring positive input in the first place. Each product would have to be evaluated individually based on the ingredients. In my videos I recommend products that I evaluate as good and useful and give hints on which ingredients are recommendable, so that you
as a viewer can judge for yourself which products are suitable. But limited time and possibilities of commentary functions here do not allow to judge individual product inquiries seriously and this would not be professional either. There will be more videos on ingredients :-) I wish you that you achieve your goal of becoming a dermatologist ♥
