I always loved Miss Marianne and my missus was jealous coz she could not be so cool as miss Mary hanging with me on a farm gate gazing at the rainbow...
She’s superb live, I am so glad I’ve managed to see her live twice in my lifetime.

Quite a wonderful surprise! Marianne is a wonderful example of how to grow in her art. Also see Chrissie Hynde (great new album, Relentless!), Robert Plant. So many from her era have not.

I had no idea that she was still singing, not surprisingly her voice has changed completely. To think that they said at the time that the only reason why she had her songs recorded was because she was Mike Jagger's girlfriend. Jagger is still singing so there must be something about the pair.

I'm dreadful at reading Gmail - haven't heard from you in months, no fun wanna-be "hit" groups- Marianne popped up on my front page, unusual - I listen to her elsewhere, still completely mesmerized by her last release, the recitation with such raw, genuine awe but also her control as the consumate actress she is- so I freaked- as is my way- my partner wouldn't tell me if she passed- don't ask- I am STILL in disbelief Leonard Cohen died- bothers me to type the letters- IS MARIANNE OK AS FAR AS SHE CAN BE-? I still have trouble imagining her in a senior home- even a posh rest home for entertainers- All the best - Namaste
Marianne is fine, considering everything she has put her body through! She was submitted to hospital in 2020 with Covid. She was the only person admitted on her ward who survived.... Stand by for some big news!
