Alina flies Sunday morning. She's one if the first, but the pattern soon fills up. She's inspired b the other pilots "spot" landings so she start working on tightening her landing skills.
My 2 (now adult) daughters called me Papa, also when they were young. Now they just call me Dad... with the exception of when they need a favor. Then they address me as Papa. 😉 Thanks for sharing these moments with precious Alina. 😎👍🏻
I was born by 9200 feet approximately. The highest where I was, 18000 feet. But my younger brother and my father were several times at 20 400 feet or more. My younger brother went to this altitude as a weekend walk
@williamh.scottv438 I was born in the South hemisphere. My Father was a medical personality, president of the South Latno American Pathology in the 70s. I was born in the house, as my Mother didn't like the hospital maternity services. The Doctor was my Father. My Mother told me she hadn't felt dolour. I remember my birth. My Father was Ekuadorian, my Mother French. Both of them spoke very well Spanish, English and French, but my father had learnt German, Italian and Portuguese too. I live in France, but I lived about eight years in Ekuador. I've been in Bolivia too, accompanying my Father in a congress of the SLAP. We went to walk by 4000 meters....
@williamh.scottv438 My Mother lived five years in New York. My Father lived in Chicago, Toronto. He was the most gentle man who I have known. My Mother was somewhat impulsive, artist. She felt frustrated that my grandfather didn't want that she do a dancer of ballet. My French grandfather was from the French country, very interested in religious things, and he thought it was profanity to have a profession like ballet-dancer.
Busy Busy Busy. As good as it gets, really. Nothing quite like circuit training in a busy pattern, to keep the blood flowing! Don't see your Dad with a trailer. Wondering how you are returning to SC?
There should be many more 14 year old like Alina they soak it all up like a sponge. I don't know about in the states but in the Uk we Have the Air Cadets for youngsters where they can eventually get a flying scholarship. it really is a great organisation and teaches kids so much and not just aviation. Do they have similar organisations in the states ?

What is the maximum wind you can fly in?
It's pilot dependent. She can fly with about 10 mile-per- hour crosswind. The aircraft can be controlled in at least a 20 mile per hour cross wind.
I meant Trucking
