I started writing Devotionals 3 years ago submitted them to a publishing company while in the middle of a divorce. My book published this Febuary. 4. Healing is a journey. Stop rushing through it because God's time is slow and will not stop until it reaches completion. Mine took 22 months. I learned my value as God sees me. God has great plans for us...Behold I am about to do something new...Isaiah 43:19
Took me 40 yrs, instead of seven days to realize, the finger I pointed at my husband, started with me. Women and Men, when the Lord tells you someone is Not your partner, don't do it. It will spin you 50 years backward. Run with the grace of God!!!
This message blessed me, as many others of Better Together have. I too have and am walking thru deep betrayal... and wrote the following: Betrayal - A total - never saw it coming, Everyone was blind-sided - Betrayal. It's not just walls and ceiling Crumbling all around you As the news hits you - The horror of it all Knocks you to your knees. But it's the betryal news That the world you thought Totally disappears - Gone in an instant - No ceiling to have cover, No walls to lean and hold on, And no floor to fall on to. Yes you're knocked to your knees Only to find You are free-falling - Nothing to catch your knees, Nothing to grab a hold of - The world you once knew And lived your life in, Gone in an instant As the full betrayal hit. Bearings? There are none! Mind is swirling to fast As you're free-falling, Nothing to catch you, To allow you to catch a breath... All hope is gone in that instant - H o p e .... And you remember The Name that brings hope In the midst of any storm. So with every ounce of strength You can muster up You barely whisper J e s u s. In that instant His hand catches you Ever so lovingly and gently. The sobs come in waves Now that you are still In the palm of His hand. Jesus - He was already there, Tho my eyes didn't see, Ears didn't hear Him He was always right there. Jesus is always right there To comfort the broken hearted, Be Peace in the midst of the storm, Listener to what's on your heart, Shoulder when you just need to cry, Dance Partner when joy overflows, Still when you need to sit in quiet, Hold you when you need a Friend - Whatever you need at the moment Jesus is more than enough. JESUS, period.
When it comes to FORGIVENESS I picture myself SCRUBBING that person SLATE like a DIRTY DISH sometimes I have to hit it all day until that slate is clean, others multiple times a day if more than one thing comes up, BUT I ALWAYS am able to SEE a white clean slate which HELPS MY HEART and HEALING! I hope this will help someone CHOOSE to be Grateful! ❤️🐿🙌🙏
Love love this...... Much much easier to hold onto u forgiveness..... BUT....... That is not good...... After 10 years at a church I was persecuted .. lied about..... slandered .... gossipped about..... literally destroyed.... And consequently blamed for all the above when I would NEVER DO or SAY !!!! MY SMALL town is about owned by this group... All because I BROUGHT ALL TO THE MAN who says he is in charge...then the persecution accelerated even more..... I finally left..... 💔😪🤦😫

Hallelujah Giving it to God was and is always the best. The hard part is forgiving myself and releasing the pain of... for a lesser time to recovery. Letting go and letting God take care of it. For me also was/is how to rebuild trust during my period of healing Yet! Learning to trust myself with my own choices. And also not taking on the other person's responsibility as if it was mine own. It was a very inspiring and invigorating impactful discussion. I overcame domestic violence and I can't say that it was the Lord will you be abused, but the flesh and being out of the will of God was the reason. I'm using this now as one of the purposes to build women who came out or are currently experiencing this horror. I have been blessed with songs in the night too. I really needed this. There's betrayal which is so deep, you know you'll never ever experience such again in your life. Also when you've given your heart and all your resources to such a person and you believed that this person was with you for life. When this person uses deceit in the relationship. When you've cried and now practically you've no more 'water (tears) to shed because the water has dried up. Having been betrayed over and over in a relationship by my partner (not married) and I’m still in it. Thinking I’m doing the right thing because I’m trying to forgive and forget and allow him to rebuild the trust. Is it possible to get past this by staying in it with the one that betrayed me? God, I want to be whole, healed and well. Lord help. I want to be who you want me to be and do what you want me to do.
I would say to you, to just give the entire relationship to God, because I'm married and going through the constant disappointment yet, somewhere deep down in me still want him to be the man God has called for him to be and husband. So don't worry about your relationship nor worry about where it's going and what he's doing. if he breaks up with you then let it be and praise God. If God gives you the peace to break up with him, still praise God. Because God doesn't allow confusion nor does he allow any type of abuse. I just remember as I'm writing this to you. 1 Corithians 13. God's Fruit of the Spirit. If their is no genuine love, peace, joy in the relationship nor reciprocated than it's time to move forward with one day at a time. I hope you are okay, and we will both get through this. I pray that God works everything out in your favor as he will do for me and in my marriage God willing.
Something struck me about what Peter did to Jesus and what Judas did to Jesus. They both betrayed Jesus. I think the difference between the two is that Peter repented, Judas did not.
If/when I tell the truth about my experience, it might turn a lot of people away from Christ. People are turning a loan into theft, and accusations of adultery with the people around you not informing you of it but hinting it. People in power talking about the situation but denying it to play reverse psychology. The forgiveness can’t be ongoing because these toxic individuals are dragging it out and it’s crossed such a boundary that it’s split my family because the relative can’t come around with my ex/partner.
I really love listening to you women, but when I listen you ladies need to be quiet when each one is speaking. It is distracting when you say yeah, amen etc.. Each one has something really important to teach us.
