Today, prime ASAP artists led by Gary V and Sarah paid tribute to Ogie Alcasid, an iconic songwriter/singer, who contributed selflessly his hit songs in the music industry. The finale part was a duet by Sarah and him singing "Pangarap ang Ibigin Ka" It was a well-applauded number because they sang it with much emotion, Sarah particularly with its lyrics, seemed dedicating it to the love of her life. I think your guess is as good as mine. Ogie and Regine are very close to Sarah, as she admires them, making them as role model in her personal and career life and in return the couple loved and appreciated her. In fact, in one of Ogie's interviews, he stated that he wished to compose/sing a wedding song, once she and Matteo will decide to settle down in the near future. Isn't it exciting??? Looking forward to this day....

Napaka ganda ng part when she sang "ang iyong tinig wari ko'y di marinig...". But Ogie was setting her up for the high note finish, that was so doable for her, I wish she'd be reminded of how good she is to nail those notes, and her bad habit of distancing her mic away here was back- Sars, kayang kaya mo naman, once a biritera, always a biritera. It's in you!
i honestly think the reason she didn't do much of those high notes was because this wasn't her spotlight, it's ogie's...distancing the mic away was because she wants ogie's voice to be heard more than hers...
I agree! It's a tribute to Ogie and she has been really respectful of people that she sings with in stage. A real sign of humility on her part.
Agree with you guys, Sarah's always gracious, but there's a difference between that and hearing her beautiful voice- it's not as if she's belting to outperform Ogie, distancing the mic just renders a weak performance, and if it's weak, the duet becomes weaker.
