Women who shave their head are so brave. We have such a pressure to keep our hair but anyone can do anything with it.
I shaved mine too few weeks ago... I feel so much confident and better!

Lisa is professional, explaining what each blade means & if they have any kind of hair history. If I was in the chair I would feel comfortable with Lisa doing my hair because Lisa knows her stuff. Point blank. Also loving the color! I have serious been on the fence of doing a dramatic cut myself 🤔..

i'm really glad that she was brave enough to say "okay you cut it too short" because most clients in these videos seem to grit their teeth and it's a lil sad :/ but she looked bomb at the end ! and like she said it's just gonna grow back

Same. I also cut my hair really short and colored it blue, but I liked the blonde more. I was just afraid to tell the lady to just leave it just bleached😓😂

6 months ago I cut my hair so short because all my life I had permed hair, literally had an egg head lol. It was so hard for me in the beginning, I wore a hoodie everywhere I went. But you know what, it sure was a journey for me that I’ll never forget! I’m loving my Afro everyday the more it grows... I feel in tune with my natural self. I don’t regret my big chop NOW. Lol
I had super long natural hair and i shaved it off last year after having it for 7years. People around me were surprised and i got sick of people referring to me as "the girl with the big hair" and honestly, now i feel so much better about myself every time I look in the mirror. (plus I save hours and $ caring for my hair lol)
First hairdresser to finally dye the hair AFTER the haircut. So refreshing after seeing all of the other hairstylists waste dye before they cut inches of hair off
The stylist was super super professional and talked the client through everything to figure out exactly how the client wanted her hair

I first dyed my hair when I was 9 and people where judging me for it and saying that I was killing my hair and that it wasn't good and I should have stayed natural. I am now 13 and habe dyed my hair multiple times and people keep judging me for it

Just did my Big Chop May 30th. No more dye, no more lye. Sporting my natural GRAY hair. My sister thought I’d chopped it and dyed it platinum blonde. I told her the name of this color is Dyed by God! I could NOT be happier! And like you, I see my real curl pattern for the first time in 41 years! I wish I’d done this YEARS ago! Enjoy the journey. I know I am!

I'm a little confused. What was her motivation if her natural hair was already grown out? And when she doesn't look happy during and afterwards... No hate, just confused.
Well... When I first had my hair dyed, I was shocked - it was very new, first time = I had to get used to it first. I liked it, but I had to get used to it.
It doesn't have to necessary mean she didn't like it in the end. 🤷🏼♀️😀
It just takes some getting used to! I remember when I cut my hair similarly, I was happy with the decision, but wasn't quite sure how I felt about the look at the moment. My emotions fluctuated a bit, but it always grows on you! It's so easy to find ways to love your hair, especially when you were in control of the decision.
The hairstylist was absolutely gorgeous.

She looked beautiful before and after. Love the long locks but also the short shave and colour. Her smile is so big and awesome! I'm glad the new hair also made her be able to memorialize her dad too.

every time a woman shaves their head, it just brings out such amazing facial features you wouldn't have noticed before. It is so beautiful she has a great head shape and a wonderful face! Doing the big chop was the best thing I have done for myself.

I got a haircut similar to this in 7th grade (I don't have her hair type, im a 2c) and this is exactly how I felt. but I loved regrowing my hair out! she looks beautiful regardless of length, and the color is amazing!

I remember when I big chopped for the first time ever in my life (this October)...God the emotional roller coast was real when she was cutting it all off. I never had short hair. But it grows back soo fast (at least for me it did).

Yo, the barber is very good. I've been cutting my hair since 2006 and I've never had this much convo with a barber, male or female. She is so informative, very patient and talented. Props. I wish more women had this experience. I've actually been so fed up with barbers not understanding or taking the time with me, that I am cutting and styling my own hair.
