XG does not write the rap lines all by themselves. Simon and the crew helped them. But they’re family. I want to say this as early as possible because now some people have realised XG doesnt write the lines and start unliking them and talking shit abt them. But that’s just sad they couldnt see the effort & talent behind all that. Delivery is a thing. Writing is a thing in the future. Just dont hate.

They are very young and rapping in their 3rd language so I don’t mind them receiving guidance from experienced writers. At least they are honest about it and helping the girls build a foundation for writing later in their careers if they decide to become solo artists. Their producer / CEO Simon wants them to sound authentic and respectful to Hip Hop culture. Hence why their lyrics are usually about working hard to achieve their goals, classic hip hop references, references to their own culture, empowerment, family, protecting their energy, and their concepts (wolf / aliens) They don’t try to put on a fake image or accent while rapping. They worked hard for multiple years to get to where they are now and genuinely love / study hip hop and r&b. Their documentary shows it all. Their English pronunciation while rapping has improved a lot since the beginning.

@@dabtrollcreationstv The song “Show You Can” was made for a dance crew so there is a portion in the middle “1:27 -1:55” where the girls stop rapping so the dancers can go crazy. You can skip that part because it’s just the beat, the girls start rapping again right after that 28 second time frame. Just want to let you know because some reactors get confused on that part lol

Not a lot of groups/artists can do that. Also you will find that their fans are very dedicated and we all expect them to do very well in the international music market as there are no others like them out there.

But I recommend checking out everything they've got on CZcams. There is not a group I can think of that is this loaded with talent.

People hardly know this but BTS has a very strong Hip Hop element on their music, especially old school hip hop.

This is why rappers in the US need to let writers do their craft amd let the creative own the videos. Compared to the better rappers they are right there.
