This woman made music EXCITING to me again. When I listened to her album I genuinely had no felt that way about music in such a long time. Many great singers out there, but RAYE connects and loves what she does, it SHOWS!!

The whole thing is a masterpiece from start to end.. ive only discovered Raye recently (late to the party i know) but im obsessed. Had her album on repeat for the last three weeks. How is she not the biggest star on the planet?? She has talent oozing from every pore! Truly amazing!! Great reaction too, thanks.
Brilliant reaction and amazing reflection on each and every song. I work in live production and was extremely lucky to be one of the people working on cameras for this, and apart from getting to briefly meet Raye (who was every bit as chaotically lovely as I'd expected) it went on to be an absolute career highlight for me just to say I was there for this and did a tiny part in pulling it together. I'll honestly never forget it!

Sometimes things are so good you just have to share that joy with somebody...anybody. I'm so glad you took my advice on the live version. And Kudos to you for sharing your personal feelings in correlation to the subject matter! I don't know how you held up to "Ice Cream Man" without the tears. I've heard it about 15 times, and while watching this video was crying like a baby.

Loved your reaction. I think RAYE is one of the most talented artists out there right now. I really hope she gets all the success she deserves. I do think you should react to the original recored version of the album as well. It’s not the same as the live version you listened to, but it has amazing production and is my aoty from 2023 and still on my rotation to this day. Genesis, which she released a week ago is amazing as well, along with one of the best music videos ever.
The actual video of this is so good I wish there was a way for you to watch it bc the visuals to each of the songs are stunning. It also provides a bit more context bc she explains songs in between the songs

Sorry, just being too excited that someone finally reacts to this show. I first got the full show in video form (BBC stream) in Feb., then I could NOT stop listening/watching it since then. I actually made a Chinese subtitled version of the full show of my own. 'Cos It's been tooooooo looooong since I heard a voice that made me so happy.

I recently found out about her after cowboy carter and I absolutely loved this concert of hers and is so glad that you decided to react to it. I just hate that I don’t enjoy this album in the studio version I can only listen to them in concert

Fun fact. in the video version of the album Raye performs body dysmorphia and ice cream man in nothing but her underwear. 🥹 she states that it was a way to display her vulnerability and take back her power. Literally performing in her underwear in front of sooo many ppl. I cried watching.
