Gespe'gewa'gi: The Last Land S2: LISTUGUJ GETS A NEW BOAT

EXCLUSIVE WEB VIDEO: Pride and joy for Listuguj Fisheries: JD Wysote gives us a tour of a 19.81 by 7.31-meter (65 x24-foot) new fishing vessel geared for snow crab and groundfish (2022). The vessel is named "Ugjit Mijua’ji’jg" in the Mi’gmaw language, meaning “For Our Children”, a reference to the optimism that the community has for its continuing role in commercial fishery.
Gespe’gewa’gi: The Last Land, Season 2 . It's a 10- part, 1/2 documentary series that is a fun and exciting dive into the world of Indigenous commercial fisheries of Mi'kma'ki and their connection to the people, their traditions, and their homeland.
