!!! Those 90 degrees glasses! They’re perfect! And I am being dead serious. I had surgery on my neck (for a herniated disc and a bone spur protruding into my spinal cord) a few years back. My overall quality of life is great now, but if I have to look down or up for long periods of time (reading, for example) I end up in so much pain. These glasses would allow me to hold my neck straight and reduce the pressure on my spine. That means fewer headaches, less muscle tension, and less radiating pain down into my hands. Thanks!
I bought a necklight from Amazon and it works fine for me. It has 3 different color settings (white, blue-ish & yellow/orange) and 3 brightness settings for each and it's rechargeable. I'm kinda interested in those book page holders, going to look into that.
I do wonder if those book holders would work for my mom as arthritis makes holding paper books difficult. Or the glasses for that matter, but I wonder how they affect someone who needs reading glasses. That light panel should have been set up to go down the page, so you can rest the batteries on the top of the book. I used to have a "Goosebumps" branded reading lamp which I sent away for, and it worked much better with a smaller clip and a long thin arm that moved easy but never on it's own. It lasted a many years too.
So, I have a Paperwhite, but I still read a lot of physical books and for years I’ve been looking for a way to read in bed without disturbing my partner. I think I have bought every single reading light available on Amazon and they are universally terrible! How can it be so hard to make a decent personal book light!? Thanks for the reviews and the good laughs!
Hah! I actually have the "Robotic Reading Light"! My dad gave it to me years ago and it IS terrible! I only use it to read in the movie theaters before the movie starts, and that only because I don't have a phone!
The last product isn't just impractical, it's worse for your eyes, always read in proper light as just one point source puts further strain on your eyes That lamo might be better tho but idk honestly as it seems cool enough Also would be a bit more helpful if you put their usd values like a subtitle or something next time as it's easier to convert to the currency of the persons country

I think at this stage I will suggest buying a kindle and just getting the physical version of the book to display on the shelf
I want to get the 90 degree glasses just to horrify my kids 😂
🤣

I couldn’t use the glasses because I wear glasses already…that would just be impossible! Lol also, I feel like I would get sick wearing them.

This is such a great video idea. Haven’t seen this on Booktube before!
💡 Huh. I do want/need a stand lamp for reading in my chair 🤔 but breaking of spines is not acceptable in my home 🙀
I love this ! Something a bit different 😊
I used to have one of those robotic self lights when I was a kid. 😂 it’s awful
Interesting video.. happy reading to you… I make it simple book marker and book sleeve to protect my book.. thank you 🙏
Whatever happened to the old flashlight under the covers method?
