The Beier electronics really opens up a lot of new possibilities within RC trucking. And so compact size. Stil there are many within the hobby out there that do not know about anything else than the Tamya MFC electronics. But it's changeing.

can you kindly do a separate video of multiple trailer set up showing how this will be installed into trailers and a few different ideas and ways this can be used for Australia r.c trucks as we haul 4 trailers here all hooked together an drag from one side Australia to the boring other side of Australia 😂😂

Thanks Bob for reviewing these wireless modules and I wondered if they you thought they could be used in a tank. Normally for all the functions in the turret you would need a multi contact slipring to send up all the various commands from the receiver while still able to achieve full 360 rotation but with one of these modules it could be done wirelessly.
These are trailer modules but the Beier SFR-1-D works great in tanks and has a dual motor controller built in. For HengLong tanks they make a special unit the SFR-HL which I will have a video on soon.
Great video again Bob. I got my IR LM in the mail yesterday. Thanks for the fast shipping. I assume on the Bluetooth one, if you had multiple trailers you would want to have the magnetic switch vs shutting it off on the receiver. Possibilities are endless in this hobby!
Yes, if I had multiple trailers I would use the magnet.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC I had a moment of Shower Brilliance today, on an advantage of the IR system.
I assume the Bluetooth unit can only be paired to a single truck.
But Beier sells a hollow kingpin for the IR unit.
So if you're going to a meet with a bunch of different trucks
But if you can get everyone to run Beier IR units, with the emitter light tucked under the fifth wheel
*and* agree on some standardization on light channels (1 for markers, 2 for Left Signal, 3 for Right Signal, 4 for Brakes, Motor Up/Down for landing legs)
That means any truck can pin to and operate any trailer, without needing to mess with bluetooth trailer assignments
I use Servonaut IR AIRU and AMO IR I wonder if they can be cross compatible

If you are towing both trailers at the same time you would use the train feature.
what if you one truck with BT module - 3 different trailers. Shutting of bluetooth means that the truck stops using the bluetooth module right?? So with 3 different trailers i need to use the magnet funktion?
