- "There’s always some trace of them. That just wasn’t the case in this investigation. Especially the facts of the Life360. That was odd," said Detective Carter. ----

She seems very passionate about her work. Thank you detective for dedication to helping families.
That's how I feel too!! I said almost exactly the same thing.
We must be right!
If I ever go missing, I want this detective on my case. She's very thorough, calm and methodical. She has integrity, which is so important in this work.
Do you? She doesn't know about Brandon's law.
Me too!!! She's driven, thorough, hungry!!!❤
@ThrowAway-ji1cf
This young woman is driven, thorough, dedicated, smart.
She may or may not know about "Brandon's law", but she is eager to learn and help victims.
This is the kind of person the US needs in law enforcement, politics, science, education, and any other part of society.
She is the type of person to advance human knowledge.
I hope that you can at least see this.
Decency, drive, love of knowledge, kindness, intelligence, expertise, and leadership where she would delegate jobs to the people she leads etc are all terrific positive characteristics.
This woman will go far.
The US is lucky to have her.
You should be proud of her!
Cheers from Canada!
👋🇨🇦🌠
@@abelis644 Brandons law is something enacted in most of the United States in 2008 or 2009 that requires law enforcement to investigate a missing persons case from the moment they're reported missing, no matter their age. This woman repeatedly says that they couldn't investigate until 24 hours had passed, which is patently wrong and is wasting the most vital part of a search for a missing person. After 48 hours there's something like a 70% chance you're looking for a body. If you spend 24 hours going "well, he's 18 or older so I kinda have my hands tied" you're giving up your best chance. She may be a fantastic detective but she doesn't know basic facets of American law and is tying her own hands with red tape that hasn't been valid in almost a decade.
@@abelis644 she may be a fantastic person and have a capable mind, or whatever has you simping, but I would rather have someone looking for me who's aware that they can start...Well, immediately, preferably. There's no time limitations, and they don't need a crime.
This is a woman that young girls should look up to instead of the taylor swift types. Good job Detective Carter.
Detective is great - so is Taylor Swift.
OK why you gotta bash Tay Tay to make your point. She is an uber successful trillion-airess for all intents and purpose, shes an industry and err body around her is living a fabulous life. I can't think of anything shameful, come to think of it, shame on you you internet troll leave Taylor alone before I come down under your brioge and give you what for!
What 😂 why?
Agreed 👍
A better example of who young women should not look up to, would have been one of those greasy gypsies the Kardashians
This detective seems passionate about her work and the community.
This detective is awesome, watching and listening tonher explains the intricacies of phones and the information thatvit gives and you csn receive ,locate etc.....she knows her stuff hands down....one thatvtajes her job to another level.....just WOW!
She likes waiving those two guns around😂
Of course y’all gotta be creepy towards this detective while she testifies against a creep. This is why we need more women like her protecting other women and male victims of depraved weirdos.
Thank you for including male victims.
I couldn’t help but laugh when she paused to press her eyelashes back onto to her eyelid 😂😂
Ive never gotten those damn things to say on either honey🤦🏻♀️
He’s a liar that killed that innocent girl. But he can’t lie his way out of his crime!😡
Innocent?

@@Monica_Escobar you are absolutely right, that woman who is defending the monster, probably is his mother. Shame on her.
She’s a great detective!
She has a better memory than my computer. There was so much detail and so little waffle, I’m sure the prosecutor thought her the perfect witness.
9 yrs in the military plus all the years in law enforcement, and very dedicated to her career! Doesn't have to wear revealing clothing or tones of makeup! This is the type of woman children need to strive to be! Thank you for all your service Corporal-detective Carter 🩶🩵🫡🎖️👮🏾♀️🚓
Angela Carter has done such a spectacular job on this case. I hate she had to experience this, but I am glad she has the fortitude to withstand the effects and put the evidence together flawlessly.
Olivia Benson, eat your heart out.
This detective is very knowledgeable and I would like her to be assigned to any case I was concerned about.
Ooh wow this detective is so professional and passionate about her work and one can see she left "no stone unturned" #Respect Corpral for your service and dedication to get this monster closer to the check mate move ~ I'm watching from Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦
She is just beautiful. She can’t help looking that good. Very pretty lady. Doing a great job for American. Solving murder cases.
Nice ass too!
Her episode of First 48 and her mother's cry is still fresh in my mind. This Detective was AMAZING to this family! She worked HARD to solve this case.
I believe the victim and her friends had the 360 app on their phones. Was used to narrow down the timeline of her disappearance/location.

Detective carter very professional in her job great brain
She did an amazing job 👏 and I'm in love with her 😂🙈
She got a big ol booty too but she’s a hood booger . She’s on the first 48 trying to get male suspects to confess by using slang terms and her sexuality lmao

my favorite testimony " I work for King Davids" Q: whats that? A: " It's an adult daycare and Childrens Kindergarden" lolz so grandpa and grandson can go to school together and get their diapers changed lolz
To be more accurate, it's a synagogue which has 2 major buisnesses attached, one is the daycare for children, one is an adult care center.
I don't see her acting like Miss America. I see she is taking questions from one person but answering to the jury. She is concentrating on staying on task and answering well. If anything those actions you speak of are self soothing or redirecting her attention. Of course I too am beautiful and completely understand her plight.
Amber Heard
She seems to get her way with pretty privilege I am sure.
If you had the privileges that beauty gives, you would enjoy the perks too. I know I did. But I did not see her do anything untoward. Everything she does is beautiful and her strength and employment success makes her even more beautiful, in my opinion.
@@supriseimblack Amber Heard's attitude and personality destroyed her looks.
The spiked lashes are very distracting, but otherwise, her makeup is subtle and not overdone. Fitting for her job anyway.
She is very well spoke and thorough in her testimony. It broke my heart to see her cry during previous testimony. She absolutely took this personally - as many cops do.
It’s a lot of haters in this chat 😒
Yes, sadly ...
Check out the first 48 episode about this case. you get to see her in action. She's no slouch. But yes very pretty. I would not want to be on her bad side

I want to watch it so bad but I don’t have cable 😢
I tried looking for the episode and couldn’t find it. I also put in 48 hrs season and episode!🤔
This detective is smart and skilled but this case was only solved because Miles Bryant is the dumbest cop and unluckiest criminal alive. Couldn’t even find his own gun, kidnapped a girl who had Life360 and took 2 cell phones to the dumping site
What an impressive detective. Wow. Any department is lucky to have her.
She is a hero. God bless her. 💕
Amazing work detective! So disappointing to see so many people reacting negatively towards such a smart, thorough, thoughtful, empathetic and confident female detective. Physical beauty can be so triggering to insecure people, and it’s a shame. Let’s LIFT powerful women up, such as this detective and her hard work!

This detective is absolutely beautiful. Intelligent as well, it seems like she worked her butt off to get where she is. Shes awesome. I hope she continues to be incredibly successful in her career. Not a funny situation here, but u gotta lol at the female haters in the comment section that are in an uproar over ppl complimenting her looks. If you have an issue w\ppl giving credit where credit is due, especially when it comes to another womans beauty...then that sounds like a YOU problem!🤷

Thank-you ma'am , DETECTIVE , love you for your PROFESSIONALISM , I fully support law enforcement , but not corrupt police or detention officers .
You go Judge Simpson! Mr. Bennett deserves being sanctioned. Hope he reported himself and justice was served.
First time watching this channel. You guys, and yes it is you guys, wouldn’t know a professional if you fell over one. Should clarify, it’s not all guys, but those that were disparaging I would like to see you do her job.
She's giving Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? Smart, fine and long hair 😜
What a great show... " Where in the 🌎 is Carmen San Diego". Early 90's had some great 📺 shows. Yes, this detective is pretty.

Wouldn't the "secret" social media pages actually be called sock accounts instead of spam accounts?
Why did they wait 6 months before taking the report for this child. It is horrible how badly she handled this case...They didn't care until her body was found. DISGRACEFUL!
She was not the original investigator on this case. If you watch The First 48 episode on this, she was brought in specifically because it had gone stagnant, and she brought it to a close.
You obviously didn't listen. Cuz that's not what was said. You idiot. Sounded dumb AF
@@RPMCaneshow embarrassing. Talking shit. N dead ass wrong lol. It's amazing we all hear the testimony but ... That jackass above you ... Hears somethin completely different lol. And RANT LOL.
The detective explained on the stand how she fought to get assigned to the case and was belatedly made lead detective for the investigation.
@RPMCanes I didn't see that episode.
how do you go from medical supply Army to detective in 5 years? No criminal law training or academy either. Wow she does love to talk though. I wonder how all those patrol officers that have been beating the roads for a decade feel about her jumping the line like that. This isn't McDonalds..you need education and years of service to get to any kind of special unit? How did she advance so quickly? Oh she went to a seminar in LV...duh. Watch the interrogation and how she acts towards him. When her flirty charms don't work, they pull her out and put another detective in. the prosecutor shouldn't make her coaching so obvious either.
I mean... she was the one who was able to bring this case to resolution.
Maybe she's just good at her job
HEY ALEXA, Play Lil Wayne, Misses Officer...
😊😅
Was her cell phone ever located?
Man, She's is a talker, lol 😅 but good for her for being so driven 😊
I think this was on the first 48 hours on tv 📺 Thursday night at 7
Long time he something like this
Before 😢
Yes, I acknowledge I’m being hyper critical here… pro 23:08 asked BROAD QUESTION, then interrupted…it got confusing for jury…should have a TIMELINE POWERPOINT to go with this questioning…little sloppy by the pros. Grizzlies need PowerPoint, map time etc. lol. 😂. This detective has stellar recollection..thank god. She is fantastic!
She is awesome and very competent, but those eyelashes are killing me.
Her eyelashes actually look fine! she's not wearing 4 inches of makeup and dressed with her breast out.
Hey you notice for her being in a homicide unit or the robbery whenever she answers a question she totally stirs away and does not look into the person that's questioning your eyes and one bit
She’s answering to the jury which she’s supposed to do!
Yes, she is looking either to the left, to the evidence presented, the questioner straight ahead, and/or the jury unseen at the right.
Why is the detective lady laughing so much?? I mean WTF??
Your dedication is paying off. Keep it up!
Black cop black cop black cop
She is good at her job but she needs to act a little more professional and a little less trying to be cute while testifying on a murder case.
This homicide detective is way too peppy and excited talking about a dead child being murdered
I am pretty sure she is on the First 48! Love her!
I have a crush on her 🥺
🍉 🍉
Completely off subject…I want to listen to all of these but it only plays in the left earphone. I can hear both ears on every other video but not ones posted by this channel.
Also, that female detective is a badass!!
It's the smile for me😊
I'm confused what I feel happen was he was meeting up with the girl because he accidentally text his gf saying you here either he drugged her or sum
Hmmmm...she should think about joining the F. B. I.
That would likely be very frustrating for her. New folks help process the paperwork for some time and don't usually see a lot of field activity. She'll promote up the food chain at her agency or go to a state agency like the GBI, which is top notch and very active.
Ohhh... Mrs.Officer!

Who is this detective looking at when she is talking, weird? Reminds me of Amber Heard's court demeanor of looking off from the person talking to her.
You can tell the people new to court cases. It’s common practice especially for experts or investigators to address the jury as they are deciding the case.
She's addressing the jury. It's not uncommon at all.
Cakes
Dayum she is beautiful
I don’t see a wedding ring 😏😏😍
Sorry, she's married.
She’s a babe!
Omg. It’s all about you lady
In the beginning she's acting like this is an audition for a role or a job interview.
Well she was just answering the questions that he was asking of her. Plus its to establish her expertise and credibility to her being involved in this case.
This is protocol for introducing professional witnesses. It’s for the jury to get to know how much they know about the topics and the Court reporter needs to type these specifics the witness information into the typed records of the trial.
'Protect and serve,' bruh.. 'Duty, honor, country..' semper paradus 'always ready..' What an utter disgrace to LE and US Army, God is love +'
not trying to be funny (very serious business) but my goodness she's the spitting image of Dopey ( 7 dwarfs), the ears, the nose, 😐
I really don't see ANY similarities... maybe your screen isn't giving you great visual clarity Miss. EDIT: I take it back and sincerely apologize. I was motivated to look up some Dopey images to refresh my 71 year old fading memory cells and you are absolutely correct. Now I wonder HOW the heck your brain was able to see and make that connection, from human face to that of a very long ago cartoon character. No way, she’s super pretty. Nothing like him 😐
@@klee88029 I loved the edit so I’m now looking up the picture 😂
Who is she talking to? The lawyer the jury? Confused 🤔
It's annoying
Courtroom
She generally looks at the lawyer asking questions. She is also looking/referring to a chart or map to her left. Occasionally she looks at the jury when she answers. She is doing a good job.
It is appropriate to address the jury. Do you not think a lead detective in 14 cases doesn’t know how to present in court?
It’s a respect to the jury considering they are the ones deciding this case.
Detective is hot
Tryjng to pay attention to her testimony, but the hair flipping is so distracting.
Why is this detective keep looking off to the side
Very distracting.
First day watching a court case? She’s speaking to the jury…the ones who need to decide this case. Respect.
That detective's playing w her hair movement and smiling at inappropriate times, like flirting, take away from the seriousness of the statements and situation
You got that?
She was nervous and emotional did you get that ? Other than that she did a great job in this case 👍
i think you’re reading too much into it, i don’t think she’s flirting at all
I totally agree with you reading too much into it@@sandygiannascoli
Someone's hating on the detective... and obviously hasn't watched her on "The First 48"... she's an "F around & find out" kinda woman.
Miss know it all!!! She can keep talking for hours and hours!!!! Too cocky!!!she wants to kill the defendant with her looks!!!
Sounds and looks like she is really good and passionate about her job. That’s so uncommon now days.
Sad that confident, intelligent women make people uncomfortable. How dare we not stay in our traditionally conservative lane. Shame on her for not shaking with nervousness, speaking assertive, answering with common professional knowledge to help the jury. God forbid she spoke at a volume requested for the microphone to clearly record the audio copy of the trial. It definitely would have made some people more comfy if she had lowered the volume of her voice into a demure whisper.
Oh and some of those same people think women moving hair out of our face means we suddenly want to seduce random gawkers lol. All because our hair falls into our eyes or tickles our face! 😂. The detective has an appropriate collard shirt and a jacket on, so yes it’s got to be hotter without a hair thing to put it up. 😂 people are jealous perverts
This bird got to be a nightmare to work with
Yep..like any confident and competent woman would be to some men…yourself excluded I’m sure!
She’s only a nightmare to criminals
What makes you say that? What about her demeanor implies a difficult personality?
The smiling and posing is a bit much. Like the Miss America contestant. Ridiculous. At 7:58 sounds like she's on job interview comes off annoying.
you’re reading too much into it
Maybe she was nervous ppl process things weirdly sometimes
I like it
Nah, poss nervous. She may not have many years in this field, but her passion and skill set will take her far.
