This is definitely rhythmic gymnastics. Acrobatic gymnastics involves other people as partners. There are no soloists in acro. Acrobatics has four types of partnering groups MP(men's pair), WP(women's pair), Women's Trio( 1 top, 2 bases) and a Men's Quad(1 top, 3 bases). I know this because my sister does acro.
Now don't get me wrong it is really awesome to watch rhythmic gymnastics because its pretty amazing!!! I could never do what these girls do! If you want to see what acro is please check out youtube channel: Acrogymtv.
Rainy Love In gymnastics you do turn, because you have to turn on beam at least one full turn. In RG, it's a mix between artistic gymnastics and dance (with a few acrobatic-like moves).
