This is it, this is the Duviri Paradox.
I believe the adult Tenno we saw in the trailer were actually the *real* Tenno, aging into adults as natural, meanwhile the void copies that escaped is what we are controlling in-game, we are reflections on a mirror, but unlike the real thing, we are eternal, we don't age, we are forever children.
Maybe this is what the void does, it creates a copy of the person at that specific moment of exposure and superimposes that onto their timeline, all the while, The Man In The Wall may be the *void itself* , the Lovecraftian entity that is beyond our perception and tricks us, manipulates our life threads as if we were puppets.

Clues are dropped that are not supposed to make sense until a grand reveal at the climax. Its less interesting if it merely tells us things we already know. From a story telling perspective it makes more sense that this was supposed to be first. Do you have a source where it was said this was supposed to be released after new war.

The orokin are known as immortals, they can and have died a hundred deaths to the point they forgot the meaning of fear because they would just come back from it.
And yet Albrecht in his void travelling experiment, came across something that made him swear off the immortality forever, something that made him choose death over witnessing whatever entity was in that voidspace ever again.

Xata - Truth: It began long before us, we who now live our perfect and dull, endless lives. It began long before these moon-palaces and body-markets hurling around our golden sun. It began long before our light-coil thinkers, our radiation wars, our oil, smoke. It began with us. The continuity and it's twin wanderlust. The need for unseen shores deep in our marrow. No judge, jester, queen, or king can escape this old blood. We are nomads, eternal. And when no ocean, mountain, or sky could contain us... our gaze hungered star-ward. Afar, they mocked us with their brittle light. Winking and jeering like dangling Ayatans forever out of reach, illuminating the truth: immortal as we are - we die with the sun. That's where I come in.
Jahu - Form: My departure was a day less than any other. When I stepped inside the Bell, I saw no crowd through it's seriglass. No skeptical onlookers. No regal sendoff. They all have given up on me and my paradoxical formulations. The wasted years had all shown the Void to be just that. Nothing. No energy. No entanglement. No form. To space-faring ambitions, a dead end. On the day, my laboratory was mostly vacant of witnesses, most of all, of expectation. Only my sluggish attendants, my sagacious Kavat, Kalymos, and of course my daughter. I had raised her alone but with inconsistent vigor. In those eyes, her mother's, I did see a terrible reflection. Of a man that did not exist. A brave and principled man about to make history. In truth, he was a void himself. An outcast, a joke, a nothing. Driven by my humiliation. Failure had made me bitter and reckless. I would dive Into the depths myself to prove them all wrong. I gave the signal. My daughter grasped the lever. Kalymos, then, belted out a desperate, rasping growl. But it was too late.
Vome - Order: The calipers yawed open the wall between worlds, stretching there a black, trapezoidal gap. A door. A mouth. It yawned in the light of the room, splintering it to mesmerizing, unearthly hues. And I, inside the Bell, dropping obliquely toward it from my gallows. Mass and time rippled as a sudden vortex jawed before me. My head was vapor, my feet, lodestone. The Bell around me, flexed like a rat paralyzed in a winding, gulping snake. I faltered in the awe of it, stumbling against the seriglass, and with that, shifted the Bell's path through the wall. It grazed the caliper membrane, the edge of the door. No worldly edge was as thin, as sharp as could split even light. As the Bell faintly grazed it, the seriglass was all at once rendered like strips of flesh by Dax blade. My enclosure was beheaded in an instant, but still, I fell... sideways... into the Void.
Fass - Chaos: Death was on me; I was certain. I was face-down, eyes clenched. My heart pulsing the last of it's seconds, and my lungs burning the last of it's air. A sudden nostalgia gripped me. I grasped desperately, for memory, of a storm, just passed, the fumbling pitch of a child's song... yet all these thoughts seemed to steal away from my mind like smoke through a vent. I would die empty. I then became aware of another sensation. Physical. A web of pain, needles itching into my arm. At once I realized: I was alive! Laying in the Bell's shattered seriglass! I groped the ground. Warm stone. The floor of my laboratory. So: I had never left... and so: I had failed. Again. I heard a crunch alongside me. Someone stepping through the shattered glass. With great shame, I gasped and rose my head to face my daughter above me. But as I open my eyes, it wasn't her. It was me.
Ris - Light: The senselessness of it, the paradoxic, the vague untime form. I was alone, but not. For I stood there confronted by myself. A twin, but no brother. A reflection but with dimension. Behind him, no horizon, but a vast broiling sea of caustic light pierced at random by black-pin stars. And closer, around me, a gale of flowing vapor. Profane in color, billowing relentlessly into the nascent lack, seeking all directions. I was standing on a precipice of familiar stone, jagged and unanchored, as though cleaved directly from the very floor of my laboratory. I wondered at the vapor's path, smoking outward more, leaving behind now, the walls, the filigree gold, the rare cuts of marble from my home. I knew at once the vapor's source. I turned away, back to the wall, the trapezoid I had yawed into it. Vapor erupted inward at the gap, but not just from there. For as I rolled my eyes back, I saw the same... a great-steam of scintillation, smoking out from my skull! Dumb in awe, I faced toward my chimerical twin. He spoke.
Khra - Time: An old name, unspoken in the centuries since my mother reared me. A soft hiss, soothing as a viper's gaze. Little Bengel. The other me reached out, offering his hand, gliding toward me without moving, as though the distance between us was now collapsing. A confusion, most euphoric, filled my mind. With the shred of wit that remained, I decided that I should run for my life. At once, crazed and frantic, I fled. But I made no forward progress. Instead, the world compressed evermore around me, as though I were an anchor pulling the shore to reach. When I arrived at the door, or rather, the door arrived at me, I howled, hurling myself inside. Out. And then and there, I was. Lost and unlost. Howling on the floor in harmony with my wretched Kalymos. Lacerated in flesh and heart. Scattered as the Bell glass. Spilling blood and stomach on the cold, stone floor. But I sensed the other there, at the wall's breach behind me, reaching still. I screamed, but my voice was gone. Forever. I looked, but my eyes would never see again. I swept my fist across the floor, snatching broken shards. And in gripping tightly, I filled my hands with ink. Close it! I wrote.
Netra - Decay: Time, to us, is all but conquered. Our sacred Kuva moves us on to new skin. We numb to our daily, yearly, trifles... and remedy those memories that bring lasting misery. With all our misdeeds, our excess, our indignity... we are haunted by nothing. But not for me. For with each passing day, there grew within a tumorous idea. It was minute in those early days: The pale reaching digits severed on the floor... studied with reverence, with greed. And it swelled larger in the latter days: the regal domes, the Rail dedications, the unholy Zariman parade. I had put the stars within reach, but at what cost? I never spoke of him, that man, trapped in the wall. And while there have been countless souls who have followed me through, with their light-skippers, and field-wave skins, and vari-eyed instruments... not a single one ever saw him. Me. And so it is that I will not take the Kuva now. Or ever again. This is the last skin I'm In. Because of this idea: that I cannot be sure. That in all that smoked commotion, in all that panic and fear, in the bending light and blinding dark... was it I who escaped? Or the other?
Lohk - Void: From brooding golfs are we beheld by that which bears no name. Its heralds are the stars it fells. The sky and Earth aflame. Corporeal laws are unwrit. As suns and love retreat. To cosmic madness, laws submit. Though stalwart minds entreat. In luminous space, blackened stars. They gaze, accuse, deny. Roiling, moaning, this realm of ours. In madness, lost shall die. Carrion hordes trill their profane accord with eldritch plans. To cosmic forms from tangent planes. We end as we began.

This yields discussion, analysis, THOUGHT...far more important for a repetitive looter game to have that type of carrot as motivation than just trinkets and physical stuff. Less ranks to grind to max, but also making the 8 Requiems a significant number rather than padding it out with two additional Necraloid ranks just to make it an even 5 for no reason.
That said yes, we will be getting new mechs or mech parts, and I believe weapons. Boss fights specifically using the mechs probably, that would be awesome, though I think we'll be able to use the mechs in the other open world areas, so bare minimum against existing open world bosses. It sounds like the Void itself in quantum in nature, it can morph into something physical by conscious observation.
Albretch Entrati went full in into the deeps of the void and the void itself manifested his fear into Wally.
On a similar note, I think the Tenno did the complete opposite, their courage manifested a second incarnation of the man in the wall that was willing to gave them power, but in nature Wally it’s still fear, two sides of the same coin
Edit: this also gets in line with how Duviri came to be, and how it morphs according to Dominus Thrax mood swings

I absolutely love the parallel in which in the beginning he goes on to detail his failures, how he hadn’t amounted to much regarding the void, to how his chance encounter ended up changing every little thing they knew about the universe itself.
It’s why I think the idea that he wasn’t the real Albrecht became stronger in the later years. Not only had they never seen “the man trapped in the wall” again, but they had done so many previously unimaginable advances in science and the void. He was so different from himself when he began his research he didn’t believe himself to be really him anymore.
I could be wrong, but I hope it makes sense :)

I have attempted to break down the poem/prophecy at the end of these logs, line by line, in order to grasp its meaning. This is what I have come up with...
From brooding gulfs are we beheld, by that which bears no name...
--This line speaks of the man in the wall, the being that bears no name, and describes how he broods/sulks as he watches the Tenno (and the inhabitants of the real world) from the gulf/coastline/edge of the world between worlds.
Its heralds are the stars it fells, the sky and earth aflame...
--This line tells the reader that the destruction of the known universe, in any capacity, serves as a herald for the man in the wall (I.E. - falling stars and/or dying planets); the being who will ultimately destroy all of reality (foreshadowing)
Corporeal laws are unwrit as sons, and love, retreat; to cosmic madness, laws submit, though stalwart minds entreat...
--This line speaks of the power of the man in the wall, and how the laws of the universe, as well as the things within said universe, submit to that power; all except for the members of mankind, who, in their perceived intelligence, try to ingratiate themselves to the void through scientific formulas, in order to learn its secrets.
In luminous space, blackened stars, they gaze, accuse, deny...
--This line describes the physical appearance of the world between worlds (white space with black stars), the dwelling place of the man in the wall, and through the personification of this space, informs the reader what the man in the wall does in the world between worlds. He gazes upon the Tenno, and the inhabitants of the real world. He watches them, accuses them of sin, and denies them any form of mercy.
Roiling, moaning, this realm of ours, in madness, lost, shall die...
--This line speaks of the deterioration of reality at the hands of the man in the wall, here identified as "madness." In addition, this line talks about how the Tenno's present reality is lost, both literally (as it is doomed to die) and figuratively (as the inhabitants of reality have no idea that they're headed to a sure destruction), and how it is ultimately doomed to be destroyed by the man in the wall (in madness, lost, shall die).
Carrion hordes trill their profane accord with eldritch plans...
--This line talks about the Orokin, and how they, in their dying and decaying bodies (their carrion), practically parade their sick and twisted means of achieving immortality across the cosmos (trilling their profane accord, as they brag about the continuity); all so that they can accomplish the evil schemes they have cooked up in their minds, their eldritch plans, if you will (like sending out the Sentients to find new worlds to exploit and destroy).
To cosmic forms, from tangent planes, we end, as we, began.
--This line talks about how all physical/ tangible things in the Tenno's present reality, including the Tenno themselves (and all other forms of life), are destined to transition into more cosmic/ethereal forms. What's more, this line tells the reader that all of the physical/tangible things in the Tenno's present reality, first started out as cosmic/ethereal constructs (to cosmic forms, from tangent planes, we end, as we, began).

There is something about that last segment, i think it hints at direction the story will go.
The "that which bares no name" is the man in the wall.
    "it's heralds" are the Tenno.
"the sky and earth aflame" War against the sentients ravaging the system, or generally the factions waging war against each other?
"Corporeal laws are unwrit" clearly revering to the void/the Tennos abilities
From here on out, alot of future predictions:
"as suns an love retreat" Love as in Lotus, the "loving mother" of the Tenno, and reflection of Margulis, the lover of Ballas has effectively retreated. "suns" could either refer to the inhabitants of the Tau, the Sentients or refer to the Star of Sol being destroyed (perhaps a conclusion to the new war, that it just disappears into the Void or is engulved by the sentients?)
"To cosmic madness, laws submit" the Void being unleashed at or sucking in the entire Origin system?
"In luminous space, blackend stars" Again, another line generally refering to the void
"they gaze, accuse, deny." Whose "they"? The Tenno? The Orokin definitly acted as Judge, Jury and Executioner back in the day. Maybe the Duviri? As with that one concept art of this guy sitting in a throne that kinda looks like it was grown by sentient technology...
"Carrion hordes trill their profane accord with eldritch plans." Idk, this could be teasing some eldritch void related faction for the future, or possibly the Infested get buffed once the Void sucks in the Origin System.
"To cosmic forms from tangent planes" Refering to the Tennos void shadow form? Or is the Man in the Wall trying to physically manifest itself, whatever it may be, in the non-void realm...
"we end as we began" Just a wild quess, but given the recent time related shenanigans with void, perhaps the story is set to end in a timeloop? Or that could refer to the Duviri Paradox, our Tenno, ending up where they began, and eventually growing older.

@@necrogenisis Wasn't it in the Limbo Profile video? I don't remember where its mentioned but whenever people mistake the rift from the void, the general reply is the rift is between the void and material plane.
Its also why he was named Limbo. The inbetweener of planes.

@@ixiahj Neither the original, nor revisited profile say that. As far I understand it, and given how Limbo's abilities operate, the Rift is a plane/dimension overlaying our own. That's why being in the Rift allows limited interaction with the physical world.

the void portal is projected on to the wall in the lab when the portal is activated it looks like it's "opening" the wall to reveal the void.

This sounds and reads as if from a book by lovecraft. Well done and the narrator is exceptional.

Well the Void sounds as unpleasant as I imagined. No wonder everyone went insane in there, imagine what they went through.
