Kenny WAS The walking dead for me. Him, Clem and Lee. He's one of the only characters from the original group. Even though its just a game, I FEEL like I have met this man before, or a man just like him in real life. He was without a doubt my favorite character of the series and his entire character arc is arguably the best one in the series. Kenny loses EVERYONE in his life, yet still manages to crack a smile or make a joke here and there to brighten peoples moods most of the time and focus on protecting those around him. The moment Kenny died in season 2, my heart broke, I couldn't stop crying, much like Lee's death. I decided to keep him alive to see him in season 3. And when I saw him die again in season 3, a large part of my interest in this series died with him. Not saying there isn't other characters that were kind of cool, and of course Clementine, but to me Kenny was one of the biggest reasons I kept playing this game. With him not around in the final season, it just didn't feel the same like it used to (which i think is the point) I'm really glad they left Kenny easter eggs in season 4 though. R.I.P. Boatgod Kenny, youre one of my favorite characters to come from a video game.
Its so dumb how he died. If he dies in the car crash there’s no heartfelt goodbye. And plus a badass survivor like him who has survived hell, dies like that? And if you let Jane kill him there is a heartfelt goodbye but like he got murdered by Jane so just no. Kenny is like lee both protecting Clem until the end and is a badass survivor and just wants the best for everybody. And to have him die in a car crash or gets murdered by one of the most irritating characters ever imo or he doesn’t die he just leaves you is so dumb and undeserving. I wish he could have gotten a proper death like lee or made it to the end.
Except Jane never killed him. He either sacrifices himself for Clem and AJ, or Clementine shoots him.

Clem shot kenny for that exact reason, out of love. Me and clem loved kenny as much as lee, but he was too fucked up in the head to keep going, and he was out of control. Instigating too many fights and causing too many problems for the group. And Jane proved her point, whenever kenny thinks he's right, he doesn't give a fuck about anyone else. He couldn't be trusted, he was too dangerous and uncooperative to let live. I was actually scared of him being around AJ, he probably would have gotten overly obsessed with AJ and start calling him duck like he did Clem. Kenny's good side is really good, but his bad side is just too bad. He was just too far out of control and I was the one to put him out of his misery, so he can't cause any more problems. Kenny is the definition of a bi polar character, both equally good and bad at the same time. His bad side needed to be put down for the last time. He was too much of a liability. Honestly kenny wasn't as useful as you'd think. You think clem can't jump a battery and get a car or boat moving? Anything kenny can do, clementine can do fine so she doesn't need him. He was more dangerous than anything. Shooting him after letting him go crazy and kill jane was the best ending I could imagine.

Fun fact: There was originally going to be a Kenny flashback in Episode 4 of The Final Season but it was scrapped due to Episode 4 of A New Frontier being a good way to sealing Kenny's part to the story. There was also gonna be a Lee flashback in Clementine's tree house where they discuss everything that went on during Episode 3.

He is literally my favourite character in the whole walking dead series. He reminds me of my dad and I love him for how much he cares about his family. I never looked after clementine I looked after Kenny. I feed duck and Kenny first then clementine. I killed Larry and I let that women in the street die because Kenny told me, I let Kenny kill Jane, I stole the food from the van, I sides with Kenny and not Lilly, I sides with Kenny and not Jane. If I had to choose between anyone and Kenny I will pick Kenny.

This story is honestly one of the most amazing things I've ever had the privilege to experience, i have nothing negative to say about it. But i wish things weren't the way they ended up and they didn't have to rush to end clems story and had the money and time to flesh it out.
