The wet pad as you call it are scented drawer liners for wooden dressers. You cut them to size and they make clothes smell good.

Oh I was begging him in my head to buy that table and a hundred other things I saw! I was thinking, if I walked into that estate sale with $300 dollars I would have walked out with a few thousand dollars worth of items!!
Estate sales give me stress and anxiety lol its very competitive here in Los Angeles and items are less abundant..... my proudest moment was when I scopped up set of vintage pyrex yellow and orange daisy baking/casserole dishes in perfect condition with the lids for only 20 dollars. I kept them lol
I live in LA too. If this sale was in our area, there would be 200 people waiting in line to get in.

I loved all of the little frog planters. I would’ve bought all of them. They’d be cute displayed all together with succulents in them! :) 🐸
The glass stones you took out the planter is meant to mimic soil.
I love the 70's too much! The best thing about those lamps was they had original shades. I hope that you got the green lamp or wall hanging half off!

Those lamps are sooooo cool. I think my in-laws had that first lamp. It was so fun to grow up in the 70’s

Oh my goodness, what a great estate sale! I love the 70s and seeing all those vintage items was the best! I did think some of the pieces were a little pricey, but fun to see! I hope you were able to go back to the sale the next day for the discount and I hope you were able to get the owl and the wall hanging. Fun time at Captain's Treasures too. The thing you referred to as a wet pad is actually drawer or closet liners they were also perfumed. My grandma had some of these with pink roses.

FYI - I used to work at a furniture & accessories imports boutique. So I can tell you that large cabinet with butterfly is not old, nor is that bright color painted small cabinet with the pheasants. Both made to look old... The big one is from China, the little one is from India.

Jeremy, I've killed a cactus before also. I really liked that owl at the estate sale. I didn't see if you got it or not. But I liked everything you did get. Love going to estate sales, that was fun with all of the great stuff they had. I hope you can go back and get that latch hook rug wall hanging you want!

The plant shaped "flower frog" is really a wall pocket that holds aluminum measuring spoons! I have my Grandmother's from the early 1940"s and use it every time I bake. She also had a small ball of string inside that fed out the bottom.
