Hearing this moves My spirit to a time that seems familiar , but which perhaps never existed ... handled but never fisted ... listless and black listed ... I dreamed it ... I wished it ... and it came true !
Industrial Accidents is by far my favourite DV tune.
Dick (and the boys) always manage incredibly strong openers and closers. This is no exception
I was stowed away and long forgotten stuck up in the attic of an old hardware store caddy corner from the local liquor store a couple of store fronts over from the gas station next to the baptist church tucked into the south-side of Chicago in the neighborhood of Englewood contemplating the razor and the bath when Dance Commander came on JBTV... I was hooked. I Thought You Was Dead and My Love Is A Knife have made my morning... can't wait for Surgery.
In my top three Dick Valentine albums. Thank you Hank Hill.
I prefer this version of Vengeance And Fashion, anyone agree?
Nice, I haven't listened to this ablum yet. thanks
my love is a knife is a sad song. a lot of the songs on this cd are really fucking sad to me but i sort of love it more than e6.
Again, thanks very much for uploading. I've already heard one of two songs belonging to this album, and as an E6 fan i can not see why a good kickstarter didnt yet give this short-lived band recognition enough however. Dick not only conquers us with his stout and potent vocals as for his melodies as well. Also if you have the Rock Empire from The Wildbunch too i'll be eager to hear it complete!!
"I Thought You Was Dead" and "Surgery" sound really great, they should work out on a new version of it IMO!
i always like joy division..
The Oblongs--the Dark and Gritty Reboot
This album is ONLY Dick Valentine on everything! This was made between Fire and Senior Smoke by Valentine under his real name using songs that either didn't make it or weren't liked by the rest of them band.
my mother is a chinese restaurant
My favourite album. Never gets old for me.
