Blue Rodeo performs 5 Days In May live in concert at Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada on February 22nd, 2023. See my other videos for more from this performance.
This whole frkn album is a spectacle of a most certain spectaculosity. “Everythin’ I done, you are the one”, if that was written by an ‘80’s hair band, it might have a resuscitative meaning, which is wild. Once a sanger, these magical tunes always beckon. Ingenious harmonious proclivity, of the 6th dimension. Continuity, or talent progression wants lightning crashing with every consecutive release, but this recording, for me, is a rock ballad new country pillar of satiable prose, unrepeatable. Just as all splendid greatness must remain, resuscitative, for future societal acumen. Stars did align most purposefully, upon that cloudy day, not so for teenage jocks perhaps, but for us of a team in the HHOF, must linger. All in greatness, propping these kids up until they can’t takes no more. And they must always acquiesce even when it’s time to convalesce. Never consider this as silly trite Canadiana, please. It is as good as Robertson, Wainwright, wheatheads, etc. A pinnacle in recording that maybe the world need bow when in recurring production. More to be said, help one’s selves, in abeyance and in lieu of unimaginable wealth, otherwise untainted.
