Alone is genius because you expect it to have a beat drop as he goes higher in his range but the beat stays monotone, just as he’s describing how every day is the same. There’s just more of the same. It’s like he’s singing wanting to reach a crescendo but because he hasn’t really faced himself and his thoughts he can’t break through. Then at the end he recognizes he needs help and says “mayday”. Then it goes into SMF PT.2. This album is pure genius.
Jimin said Set me free pt2 doesn't really have anything to do directly with set me free but since the themes are similar he decided to pay homage. He wrote and composed all the tracks in this album and even has piano and guitar credits. I'm so proud of him
Face is such a FACE... A reflection to ourselves yet we can't see it without the help of a mirror but he reflected the emotions so beautifully and I don't have words for this album .It's perfect ...Thank you for your reaction .I hope everything gets better for you soon .Christals are always there ❤

Jimin and the producers did an amazing job with this album. His pronunciation in these song is addicting especially “Like Crazy” English version. Jimin create an album where every song is a killer.

I absolve the visuals each song paints as well. LC gives that at the club drunk feel (dreaming) the Alone starts with the alarm going off after he just said in LC he did want to wake up from the dream. After the alarm his voice, OMG his voice, sound low and ruff, like some one just waking up and he continues to sing from this perspective of have woken only to find himself alone again!!!! Love everything about this album

Watching your reaction and elaborating on how Jimin’s expressed FACE, facing himself and in each song how he is looking at his reflection, is alone, then being set free - it is quite fascinating how he put all of that into an album. Jimin created that!
Like Crazy is inspired/influenced by two of his favorite movies Like Crazy and The Notebook. Also, if you have not heard yet, he has a hidden track called Letter which is so beautiful! I cried listening to that track.

Set Me Free is my vast favorite…..I never stop loving it. I can barely stand. It. You’ve got to see it. It is masterpiece quality. Unbelievable the autotune kept it from number !
it also could be the fact it has swearing in it, maybe wasn't as played on certain platforms? also, LikeCrazy probably did better bc of his two nights on The Tonight Show, and from SMFPt2 putting him on people's radars?
No it wasn’t the auto tune or swearing. “SMFpt2” wasn’t a full English song., but it’s being played in clubs, in the United States. “Like Crazy” was the main track and it had a English version. So it took off in the United states. American songs use auto tune all the time and swear all the time in songs lately and they are being played on the radio.
come to think of it, it was probably overshadowed by LikeCrazy, if it was the only release it would have gone up from #30

I whole completely agree with the solo concert thing.
The cd is great , it is surprising when you know that what he is singing about is his feelings during the pandemic feeling lost and depressed. Set me free has nothing to do with suga's he simply used the title and added part 2.
Like crazy is about him esacaping and trying to heal his wounds.
