The day I entered this university, I started feeling the smell of excellence. I was not satisfied with my life back then because I always wanted to go to a top engineering University. GCU was my Plan B and it actually changed my entire life. I learned more from the societies than my classes, and I am thankful for all the great people who helped me to grow and prosper. I am writing this today from Germany and about to complete my masters degree. I think GCU changed my life and most importantly it provided me the opportunity to explore new ideas. I owe GCU alot and I am feeling really emotional righ now. Thanks for this video. Proud to be Ravian ❤

I spend 2 years of my MSc in this heaven which I recently rolled up, what a vibe man. Every corner of the university is soo therapeutic and nostalgic. They, I think forgot to mention two other legend alumni who both met and studied at GC, Ishfaq Ahmed and Bano Qudsiya. A garden here is named after them called "Love Garden" where Ishfaq Ahmed and Bano Qudsiya used to sit.

The best part of this video is the cordial nature of VC, being even a man of position, he is down to earth __surely, a well learned man.

Imagine at that time when Lahore was a small city and everything closed down at 7pm. How would this place look like? When I visited Government college, I was like watching a dream that where Alam Iqbal, Qudratullah Shahab, and many more of our legends studied, and I was witnessing it through my own eyes...
I am honored that I have been its part from 2012 to 2014. Best learning environment for arts subjects.

Urooj ali video is really fantastic which shows lahore old history university, I belongs from kallar kahar chakwal ,so I invited you to come here in chakwal and you will find interesting history like katas raj mandar , kallar kahar lake ,takhte babri ,World 2nd largest salt mine in khewera , mountains soon valleys , blue waters streams in bhalial and much more .

I was selected in GC university lahore in the department of history but i did not come to attend my class because i went for commissioned army officer .... i hope so i wil be selected , if i did not get selected again inshallah i will be applying

It's my dream to study at this nostalgic University just because most of my country legends who has been there. allama iqbal , many of our cricketers and the person who introduced this University to me . Aftab Iqbal,, I just want to feel the vibe that these personalities are connected with this place and I want to imagine their activities in gcu, i want to be known as Ravian ,,,,,,,,,, ahh but unfortunately guys, now this university's merit is so high ,, i can't even afford this uni financially neither by my grades so that i can get free admission. but i will visit place once in my life inshallah

I hope they improve quality of education at the campus. Its deteriorating with every passing year due to mismanagement of funds. Food quality is also very bad at the cafés. The only good thing is the British era building itself and u'll see them talk more about the past than the present and future of the institution.

انگریز چلے گئے لیکن نشانیاں چھوڑ گئے
ھم پاکستانی بھی انکے پیچھے پیچھے برطانیہ چلے گئے کیونکے ہمیں وہ بہت اچّھے لگتے تھے

Institution with a great history. Studied there for a master’s degree 3 decades ago then did a PhD from one of the best universities in the US. Sad to say that some teachers were very “NALAYAQ” and some went on to become department chair. Hope they are hiring better teachers now.
