I guess it depends on what you value more, people's words or actions? While I'm grateful that people think of me, what good is it if they don't act on those thoughts? I guess people doing this stuff they say are just more beneficial to the community, and I guess that's why I prefer it, but I also understand where you're coming from.
Idk if this is a pessimistic view, but I just don’t think u should expect so much from other people. At the end of the day everyone is mainly worried about themselves (which there is nothing wrong with that) and a thought may be the best they can give u. (Or willing to give you) As men not to many people are gonna go out of there way to be there for you. So u think it serves you to appreciate any gesture sent ur way because they come few and far between
That's true, I know because there is also a few people that I like and admire but, I just don't talk with them because I don't know. But I like them
