I've been looking for a way to keep my needles threaded for my projects. I love the photo book idea! That's small enough that it will fit into my project bag.

I really enjoyed this flosstube....I too am super cheap, lol 😆 😂. Save the money for floss and patterns. Its nice to have all the pretty things but you just showed that cheap can be pretty 😍 😊. Thank you for taking the time to make this video and share how it can be done.

Elisa--What a thoughtful idea for a flosstube! So considerate of you to think about and include those who can't afford all the "keeping up with the Joneses" paraphernalia that really doesn't add that much to the true joy of stitching and creating. The proliferation of bags and needleminders to coordinate with each project always seem unnecessarily extravagant and frivolous to me. I too am frugal at heart and don't see the value of spending literally hundreds of dollars on accessories rather than the actual project. What great ideas!💡 And you still managed to make them pretty! Thanks for some terrific tips! --Deb

Thank you for your kind words. I was very worried sharing these items with everyone that some might take offense. I hope it came across that I’m sincere in both types of accessories. The more frugal side doesn’t seem to get shared as often. Have a good weekend! 😘

@@e_craftingincolorado I am from the Netherlands and when I watch some flosstubers, it amazes me that some spend more time on buying then on the actual stitching. It all seems a bit over the top sometimes. Some stitchers just start new things all the time and hardly ever finish anything. It feels to me that it's not about stitching, but about buying. Also some do give aways all the time, in order to get more subscribers. After a while it gets a bit annoying. I appreciate your video very much and can understand that some stitchers feel a little bit left out when they can't afford all the fancy stuff. I appreciate the stitchers more that actually stitch beautiful pieces and show progress all the time. By the way, I just discovered your channel today and subscribed. I love your enthousiasme and love seeimg your beautiful stitching.

Great video!!! I too am frugal and buy from the Dollar Tree and thrift stories. It was funny, I have a steering wheel cover on the project I am working on while watching your video that I bought at the Dollar Tree. I had to laugh. I use several of the items you suggested but you gave me more to check out the next time I am out. Thank you for this video. I for one would rather spend my money on projects than do dads. Take care!!!

You have SO MANY clever and amazing ideas!! I love your floss cards with all the threaded needles!! 😍 Great storage for your Dimensions threads and definitely a great idea to keep all the leftover threads - perfect way to organize them! I think I’m making a trip to Dollar Tree this weekend to see what organization bargains I can find!! 👍😃

Thank you so much for this video, I'm one of those who aren't able to afford all the lovely stitchy accessories, like you my project bags are those envelopes or document wallets. We don't have dollar tree here in the UK but it sounds like my kind of shop. I love the idea of laminating scrapbook paper and using that for full coverage projects with pre threaded needles, I'm off to make some for my massive animal Panorama piece. Love your videos!

Very unique video. I was enthralled. These tools we use are fun but they aren’t inexpensive. Great ideas and a kind thing to put together and let folks know the hobby is about the stitching not the tools. Many of us have never had the expensive tools. It’s about the stitching. Loved this video enough to subscribe. First time seeing one of your videos. My favorite idea is the steering wheel covers!

I couldn’t afford those project bags plus I wanted to use my money on cross stitch kits and patterns, not in bags, so I went on Amazon and found laptop bags with pretty designs for six dollars and bought those and they worked out great, also came a little bag inside ( suppose to be use for your mouse) I put scissors and needles.

I loved your video and ideas. I use 99 cent cushion covers (with zips) for project bags, way cheaper than the ones I make 🤣. When I wanted a sewing box, I went to the diy store and got a cheap plastic empty tool box, 30 years later I'm still using it. I recently bought cheap clothes storage organisers for my fabric. If you just look at things differently, there's endless possibilities.
Have fun stitching. Hugs, Diane 😘

I check out the brooches at the dollar store. Sometimes I find some really neat needle minders like a bejeweled frog, butterfly and scorpion, to name a few. I started making my own project bags. if you can find nice fabric on sale, you can make them for about $3-4 each rather than paying $30 each! Thanks for sharing all your little tricks. i'm not sure I'll find everything here in Canada but I'll certainly be looking for them!
