I’d happily see a psychologist- if he or she is also in persistent pain. We all have the same anatomy. If I were starving, would a shrink who’s just had a hearty meal have any yogic therapies to help my chronic hunger?

Yes, Sadly it has come to this! Or you are told you are depressed. If you have had clinical chronic pain for years no crap you might be depressed!
But that is not why you are in pain. Read the notes, listen. Many are paying for the abuse of pain meds by others that we who honestly need cannot no longer get!

Abslotkey and I lay here in pain because of the government and it’s regulations whilst alcohol kills as many people
I have wanted to end my life and it’s not because I have no chance of recovery
I have begged idiots to refer me to relative specialists
      It’s been HELL three
yrs and worse than when o fell face down
I used an illicit drug the first six mnths as it wS easier to get than one oxycodone and I am not proud of that but it helped me cope
They have gone way too far with the government rules and take a good look at alcohol
      I feel for you
      I literally feel your pain
It makes me agitated and I throw things and I self harmed last night was was too much

You can see how a brains response lights up but can't necessarily know the person's response to the neuronic activity.

These people live in I don't know what other world(these people with their so called worldly knowledge).Don't tell your Dr. about your mother or sister or somebody close to died .Because if you get in a car crash and get hurt and need something for pain (your not going to get it)they'll tell you your pain is not that bad it just seems that bad because you have had a trauma in your life.l could go on and on about this crap, makes me so 😠. Wait untill these people need pain meds and they can't get! Because its going to happen. See how much they like all the hoops they need to jump through to get some pain relief!!!

How can using a pain medication when it hurts be the "absolutely wrong way to use medication"??
Forest for the trees, Man! You CANT know all and sometimes need listening to the patient's own experiences.
