@@JoshTheHoffman Sometimes it’s worse imo. The ability to have multiple Dino’s stacked in one area, people forming large carni/herbi mix packs, etc. they’re a lot of adult children who can’t handle being outplayed in this genre of gaming
@@sunlizard9593 mix packing isn't very common for me just losing and revenge killers a lot of people do mix packing but lot so much that I can see

This at least saves growth progress and give you more chance the isle you are dead full restart.
Huge mix packing kill teams like that are super common on PoT. Can't get you? They'll log something that can, if they still can't, they'll have their friends log something that can.
Also if you kill someone, move out of the area ASAP. They log their nearby adults in to revenge kill - its a bit urgh

The new update helps this problem alot, now they've added that you can't spawn back in into a radius where your character died for a couple minutes

That cheirus was prob equipping the streamlined hide that increase the swimming speed/turn (malus: decrease the defense)

What was the point the adult sarco trying to kill you? He had a whole spino body that he could have been just scared you away from. I'm thinking he was just trying to be a prick and kill anyone trying to become an adult due to how long it takes.
Edit: Just watched everything go down, a whole cross pack trying to kill a baby sarco for absolutely no reason. One of them wasn't even playing as a carnivore, the sarco had no reason to chase after him as he already had a whole spino body all to himself, the only ones who could justify there actions were the 2 carnivores that came out of no where as we have no idea if they needed food or not.

Yea that’s the main reason I stopped playing PoT. I have it on my phone only sadly, but it’s pretty much the exact same. I was in Corpse Cove, and as the name implies, there lots of corpses around the area. Suddenly one of my favorite dinosaurs, the Troodontid known as the “Latenivenatrix”, chased me down and killed me. I was a juvenile Deinonychus, just running through. Chased me down and killed me and didn’t even eat my body. Kosers are the biggest problem in that game. The 2nd biggest problem is how long the growth takes.
They really needed a Sarco, Allo, Metri and Cheri to kill your juvi sarco?

Adore that you're playing PoT, its a lovely game, though I do recommend giving community servers a try due to massive amounts of players on Official servers creating mass groups which in turn make them impossible to escape or fight against. Love the game but until thats remedied I'd definitely give community servers a go since there was just an update that allows more community servers now
What server do you recommend?
@@2b2v Try: Velocci - with rules against KOS, spawn camping. Teutonic is there also with no rules atm but they are developing them.
@@2b2v other servers to try are Asura and WWD (Walking with dinosaurs) but try WWD since their is time growth
But you will have to do some steps to get the password to join the server

Deinocheirus (goose) is the worst in the water and has the worst oxygen, tip for dealing with them is to keep as low in the water as possible and try to bait them into drowning. When they try to go up for air, keep pressure on them.

And by the way, yes PoT has the worst KOS in all the dino survival game i've ever experienced mainly because there is no rule or the moderator just to lazy to punish anyone.
Yeah, kos everywhere but the game is fine. just need someone to moderate the server.

ive had a worse time with KOS on beasts of bermuda. with Hunt points being a thing, people hunting you for your skin color, even servers with rules it always happen because a player body gives more bias than normal bodies and its also a pvp shield because you can drop it to avoid combat. That and perks make you way more powerful and its just chaos.
the real reason is cause the majority of the player base are kids (thx to it being a mobile game) and yeah kids get emotional whenever their dino dies

@@2b2v Don’t worry 2B, it took many deaths for me to become close to decent at playing sarco, let alone the combat in the game. You’ll get better at fighting in this game in no time. (And most likely a few dozen deaths)

@@2b2v One tip that could help you as sarco would be to use precise movement while turning backwards so you turn faster if your opponent is trying to get behind you. This also works in water so you drift faster :D

Yay! great to see you are giving PoT a chance although its not for everyone, so if you do change your mind, I'd understand!
Sarco is strongest in the water, as you might have seen, as you are mostly easy prey on land where spino and duck (also known as murder goose) have an easier time to get you.
I saw someone mention it below, but use your precision movement + S if you found yourself on land as people try to get your butt and you do a faster turn by backing in circles (or what ive seen or tried) as well as you can surprise the attacker by changing turn.
You can also precision move in water too for even faster turns and the only thing you would have to worry about is a Spino with water build (if you find a spino that is unreasonably fast in water, you will know xD)
Your last fight with the duck is pretty much how you do it, so watching you learn was amazing (as well as learning for myself lol)
As for community servers: I recommend Teutonic (both servers let you grow over time and the second server has their own map) and maybe Life Finds a Way (they have rules, but since i cant record if a RB would happen, im waiting for the replay to be added). Velo also has a server with basic rules as well as against KOSing and Mixpacking
Recently they added a new playable (big lizard go brrrr) as well as shrunk the Map on official servers temporarily in preparation for higher play count as well as AI.
Can't wait for more videos! either it be pot, bob or the isle!

Ah when people log onto other dinos just to kill you xD had that when a Deinonychus logged onto their defense Spino and double teamed me with a Metri. I dragged them both down with me though xD (damn Spino claw bleed)

It's too bad PoT or the Isle doesn't have some type of anti mix packing debuff system to prevent people from doing this. Ruins the game sometimes.

To be honest, the longer I watched the video the less and less I wanted to jump on PoT. Is mix packing different carnivores along with herbivores the norm?
In the official yes, It’s like isle. No rules but there are private server that has rules I heard might jump in there.
it is a bit toxic atm, there's quite a bit of players who don't understand this is game, if you ever played the isle it's like the clan situation they have in no rules servers. they started using a term called care bearing for ppl that come into a fight that they weren't in at the start of or someone who takes care of other players, it's too broad of a umbrella term that they usual use it when they're complaining about consequences of starting a fight and a group of ppl or person pushed them off successfully. muti player is a beast in any game that's pvp ,but that doesn't mean there isn't ppl that just enjoy being a dino and checking out the cool cave systems, or those who'll share secrets that they found about the map, or help your dino grow. the kosers are reallly annoying tho XD but private servers are a thing and they're allowing mods so there's gonna be a whole lot of new options to try out once the game is fully made. theres a ton of fun features they're testing out all the time.

Ive been playing this since it came out and omg since the growth update, its near impossible to become adult unless you have a group or an adult shielding you from kosers. Theres always some toxic peep sitting at a quest drop off, or guarding quests in general. But loved the video and hope you enjoyed the game. even with its...lovely community
Try community servers with rules. They aren't a slaughter fest like the official servers

I play on Oasis which is a community server. They play on the modded island map and it has both passive growth + quests. So growing is slightly faster and it has a few rules like no KOSing and a body down rule.
Community servers are great since they have semi realism to deathmatch servers.

@@rekker1104 Duck is not that good in the water, as a Sarco you can swim under it or above it and attack from a dead angle. Spino with paddle is currently the best in the water tho. Herbis in general are balanced or weak except Stegos, they are broken.
