Happy days my man black66. Thank you sir!!!
Thanks for watching !
@@Black66 can I pick your brain? I have a Tillison 212 if I put a bigger cam in it is it a must to change to a billet piston rod?
@@Sosant260 Not a must for the piston, but I would change the rod. A billet rod will add a layer of safety.
Would love to see a hydraulic brake conversion on one of those Coleman’s
He did a video!
Thanks black66 . Love the way u compare and give us different perspective with actual performance mods n bikes. 👍🏽👍🏽
Your videos have helped me so much dealing with the mini bike I bought for my kids. Thanks man!
You should make a video on some type of braking upgrade for these bikes
Thanks for these videos sir!! I got a Coleman ct200u-ex and have been mimicking a lot of your stuff with great results!!!
@Dave N Two Dave’s always make a right! Thanks for your service brother!
That's both my bikes!!! Love to see other ideas in action!!!! And like I always said u have the best testing grounds ever!!!! Glad to see how u have grown my friend best of luck and keep em coming!!!!👍🏾
Thank you! Thanks for watching.
I got both of those!!!! Good bikes...Awsome compare again!👍🏾
I love all your videos. Thanks buddy
Thanks! Thanks for watching the videos.
Good video brotha! Maybe some billet internals in the 196 might make it a bit faster too by decreasing the rotating assembly weight
Geting some fast bike bud can't wait tell it warms up here so I can finish up a few of mine that are close to being done
Same here in WI
Awesome video !! i’ve got a Ct200u EX with a straight pipe and i’m about it to install a Mikuni Carburetor and Air filter!!
Thanks! Awesome bike !
Can’t believe you’re getting that out of the 196! Impressive
Check out the playlist. We did quite a bit with the CT200U-EX czcams.com/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/video.html
Great comparison black 66, These are great bikes. Mine has a stage 1 predator 224 with governor still intact, a torque convertor with 10/60 gearing and first time out it did 45 mph with tons of low end torque…
Sounds like your bike runs good with the predator 224. Have you seen the 224 playlist? I put a fairly built Predator 224 on a Coleman CT200U
czcams.com/video/FF7al9I2dns/video.html
@@Black66 yes i have, ive watched them all several times lol
@@andrewkuhtz Oh cool! Thanks for watching
Great video.
I greatly appreciate the scientific approach and the results. Wear some road armor please. Hell a 25mph crash most likely will break bones and could result in death. Just don't want to see you get hurt, thanks for the work you do.
What is the front sprocket tooth count on both bikes? Nice vids👍
On your modified 212 if you were not run torque converter just straight chain what gearing would you recommend for that bike ?
Which bike is the bigger one I’m new to these things
Cool Beans. 🔥🤘👍👍👍👍🏍🏍🏍🏍
Nice videos. I watched them all. Well 17 of the 21. It said four were unavailable . Wonder how the 212 Coleman would do with that 40 tooth sprocket
Thanks ! The four that are unavailable will be coming out soon. The 40 tooth is ok but you will loose some low end with it. It might try somewhere in between the stock gearing and the 40.
I have the same bike and I straight chained it because I bought the wrong torque converter so you think it really makes a difference? Also where did you buy the those header pipes?
Got the pipes from GPS. Check out the Coleman CT200U-EX playlist. I have a bike that is straight chained. czcams.com/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/video.html
Did you put any special plate under engine in order to not cut the brace in front of rear tire?
Check out the CT200U-EX playlist for the entire build and many combos with this bike. It shows the plate I used czcams.com/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/video.html
You should straight chain that black Coleman, the Torque converter is really holding that thing back.
Check out the CT200U-EX playlist. I have one that is straight chained czcams.com/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/video.html
Hey I've got a stage 1 kit for my predator 212 and i wanna know if i need to get the exhaust for it or if it'll be fine.
Watch the near the end of this video. You will see how much difference a header pipe will make. czcams.com/video/m8aOLmuzlE8/video.html
Quick as a cat can wink his eye🤣
is there any way you could make a video on every thing you did with this bike?
Here is the playlist czcams.com/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/video.html
Could you do a his same test with the 224 predator engine as well?... On the 50 tooth bike..
I have used the Predator 224 on a 50 tooth Coleman CT200U bike. Here is the playlist czcams.com/video/FF7al9I2dns/video.html
What was the build out on the 196? Govenor removed, header pipe, straight chain with cvt vs stock clutch set up for Coleman, better cam? 7 degree key, I remember your other vid with the clutch vs cvt didn’t make much difference. Thanks again for putting out these vids!
Thanks! The 196 in this video wasn't touched internally. It had a 7-degree key, slide carb and header pipe.
@@Black66 so if I took off the Coleman stock gearing, straight chained it with a max torque clutch 10t and a 44t rear sprocket hat would that do to my launch? I know I would have more top end, but concerned that I would loose low end torque for going off road. Currently I hit 38mph all stock internals, header pipe, tillotson carb stage 1, govenor zip tie, 44t rear sprocket and max torque 10t clutch with the Coleman engine plate and other gears. Appreciate your thoughts what would happen it I straight chained it and took off the other Coleman gears on the engine plate. I don’t know how to figure out the gear ratio.
@@Black66 how’s the stock internals and flywheel doing for you? Everyone recommendes to upgrade the flywheel and rod after governor removal. Others say I’ll float the springs before I’ll ever blow the rod and the flywheel is good for up to 10krpm. Gonna just be trail riding. Assuming if I’m smart and not running it at high rpm’s nonstop I’ll be fine. Looks like you use that same concept and your 196 is running great.
@@MrComeaucmc No problem with the stock internals. So far so good.
@@Black66 I tried to copy you and got the makuni vm22 carb kit off go power sports. Really brought it to life but it idles really rough. I guess they rejet it to 130 and 16. I think the 16 pilot is too big and causing all my issues. Got a 10 and a 12.5 coming in to hopefully fix this. Also gonna put a 110 main jet in like you did since you switched from a 120 to 110.
I need you to work on my mini bike apparently lol. I have a coleman with the 196 that has a 22mm carb, mod2 cam, 18# springs, tav2 torque converter, billet rod, pvl flywheel, 4 * timing key, and exhaust. I can only get about 37 mph top speed out of it. And it doesn't rev up near as high as yours is, my tach says about 3800. No matter what I try I can't seem to get it to rev higher or have a higher top speed.
If you are a heavier rider than I am ,maybe throw a bigger rear gear on there to get it in the optimal RPM band for the cam. Check out the CT200U-EX playlist for for many combos with this bike. czcams.com/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/video.html
I’m about 210 and already did a 60T rear sprocket. Was actually watching your other videos where you put a torque converter on the CT and when you were driving it, it seemed to behave the same as mine. Seemed like it didn’t want to rev where it should and kinda lazy on the top end. Then the juggernaut really woke it up, revved higher and got to speed much quicker. So that may be my issue, think I’ll order one and try it. Liking the channel so far and thanks for the fast response, keep up the good work!
@@bradleyramey Thanks! Ya, a Juggernaut will wake it up. Much better than the standard driver.
Unfortunately everywhere is out of stock right now. So I’m gonna order heavier garter springs for the driver and a stiffer spring for the driven until I can get one lol. Fingers crossed
If you a big dude dus it take away speed?
Yes it will
No matter what you do it. Its always a mini bike! Why i got a Harley is? Comfort, speed, and to be seen. i can always hope it up, put a side cart, make a trike, or pull a trailer behind me
@Kevin You might be poor and make stupid payments but i paid for my in cash and save a hell of lot interest I always pay cash for things Never payment dude A motor cycle can easy pull a trailer GET A LIFE PLEASE or go ride you kids Mini bikes LMAO Try not to get ran over by a NISSAN 🤣
You’ve got that 196 way undergeared at 4.0 with the Juggy
Just one of many combos I've tried. Check out the playlist.czcams.com/video/X0SmAZJ6qW8/video.html
What is the speedometer app you use
I use digiHUD on the phone along with the camera GPS for top speed and a Dragy performance meter for 0 to 30
@@Black66 ok thank you I'm just starting to build my mini bike
Ever have utube "groupies" show up at your house? Was pretty easy to find on google maps lol. Should blank out some of the sighns.
No one has shown up yet. They must not like me much lol
@@Black66 Looks like a nice area. If I ever leave NJ, would move there or Utah where Matt's offroad towing is located. If I ever rode a minibike here, the cops would haul me into jail and throw away the keys.
See my ct200u-ex has the Billet Rod Billet flywheel flat top pistons 26 lb valve springs 44 tooth rear sprocket 0.80 stroker kit in it. It had a Tillotson PK 1 carburetor stage 3 header pipe with the trumpet. 30 series torque converter with the juggernaut and also has the green comet spring. And I believe it only did 46 mph. But now I just put on a stage 3 carburetor. Once it warms up and I take it for a rip. I will update you on how fast it goes now. My Realtree rt200 has 26 lb valve Springs, Billet rod pvl flywheel, stage 3 carburetor, flattop piston, Comet 30 series torque converter with the juggernaut. And that bike did 51.4 now I just put on a 24 mm flat slide Mikuni. I will update you on how fast my rt200 goes now with a 24mm flat top Mikuni carburetor. The rear stock sprocket is 53 tooth I believe. Stage 3 left side exit header pipe with the trumpet. I will keep you up-to-date on the top speeds of both bikes soon as the weather warms up in Ravenna Ohio. And both of my engines are the same 196cc that came on the bike. But with the goodies. Obviously the governor's are also deleted
Awesome! Sounds like you have a fleet !
@@Black66 Just 3 bro!! You have the fleet
