The black and white shift dress reminded me of Mary Quant back in the 60's, but I think her design was in quarters not halves.
I am 60, live in Texas and have a large collection of very nice skorts (mostly solids) They look like skirt several inches above my knees but complete comfort or shorts. I can dress down or up depending on shoes and hair and jewelry. Love and can look like the tennis dress when I wear tennis shoes❤️❤️❤️ by far one of my favorite “trends”.
Same! I’m 64. But I’m here up on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. I was recently in Italy and I wore my skorts(black and beige) almost every day. I matched tops to them and accessorized with jewelry and scarves and was able to dress them up or down depending on the occasion. love ‘em.

YES to orange! One of my favorite colors. I have an orange and pink plaid dress as well as an orange/white stripe button up. They are fun to wear.
My only no is bra tops and blazers or whatever iteration. That is not my vibe. I like the black and white. I have pieces in my closet to do this.

I totally agree about the skorts! I live in south Florida and that's all I wear when going to the parks in Orlando, or just running a quick errand. So easy! Throw on a tank and some cute sandals and you look cute as heck but still keeping as cool as possible in this heat.

I like skort style and I love black and white combinations. I like choker with floral id it’s bit a large flower.
I just wish the skorts were longer. Always wore them as I’m older don’t wear shorts no more but would wear skorts if longer.
Look at golf skirts. Some can be a little longer than “tennis” skirts.

Personally I love the flower trend it doesn't have to be roses per se , in fact I usually wear flowers in my hair A lot. I also have like a very floral ivy looking necklace that I wear I have a few flower chokers And a few cuff bracelets that are flowers. Just love the that flower trend I have been doing it for years so I can't really say it trend for me!
The two piece set worn over a swimsuit look...I personally wouldn't wear it outside because it looks more like pj sets to me. Even though I love summer, I don't spend much on summer wardrobes because where I live (Seattle), our summers are too short to buy trendy outfits, plus our temperature can still currently dip into the mid 50's at night. We warm up moreso in July/August/September, then start cooling down quick.
I'm on the back deck, in the shade, bathing suit, hand fan and spray bottle. It's so hot and humid! Make-up, clothes, etc. seem impossible right now.

If u like the revolve option of 3d florals there are so many small boutiques that would custom make it... consider getting a two peice, a top and a skirt... the skirt youll get more wear out of but with top also u can layer it under a jacket later... I'm indian i can wear it with my ethnic pieces like lehnga or wear it as a saree blouse...

I think it is designed to be a mostly beach, pool party, or resort look. It would look weird to be just wearing your bikini around town.
Anna even said it’s not appropriate everywhere?? Maybe you are an older woman like I am? When I start to do the “hey you darn kids, get off my lawn” judgy type thing, I remember back to when I was young and all the things that my parents deemed inappropriate and put my gavel down. Corset tops, slip dresses and bras as outerwear began to appear in the early ‘80s. (That’s 40 years ago, not 2 weeks ago btw). The 60s and ‘70’s saw the rise of halter tops and burning of bras. Did you ever go to a disco in the ‘70s? I sure did.
I’m not saying your feelings are “wrong”. I’m just pointing out that in retrospect, this trend is neither new or shocking.
As a young person, lets bring shame and modesty back. These girls are nasty now a days. All my nurse buddies are getting STDs and are up to 25 body count. Gross.

I spend my coins on good footwear! You’re supposed to walk your whole life on your feet! Be kind to them! Give them good ones! The legs of arms don’t complain what brand they’re in! I loved most of these but I can't do minimal sandals. I like sandals that hide at least one of my toes. I am afraid those thin flip flops would just fly off, or my toes would be gripping them so hard I'd be miserable and barely able to walk 😢Chunky for me!

Hi Anna I love your pink top even though I don’t wear pastel pink…looks awful on me. I love mixing metals. I love stripes. I love orange. I like simple sandals but they have to have support. I hate having a bathing suit on and I don’t wear two piece but think that is cute for other younger people. The only thing I wasn’t quite on board with is a bra or bikini top with a blazer. Yes, skorts perfect for those BBQ invitations that might break out in a volleyball game all of a sudden. Also allows you to get a little tan when worn with a tank. Yet appropriate for a restaurant. Pickleball anyone?

I like most of the trends. The one trend that just does not look right to me is the 3D florals and excessive bows etc. I just tend to think they detract from upper torso features. And I realize that since I am male that people may think that all I want to do is stare at women's breasts or something but I am just talking about the entire aesthetic nature so my criticism is not confined to upper torso--it could be some excessive 3D concoction on a skirt or a hat even and I just feel it to take away from being able to appreciate the real beauty of people. I consider it to be akin to the opposite extreme of walking around naked. As for my favorite trends (if done right I suppose) I love black and white in most cases whether solid or mixed and love most colorful florals like the one you wore earlier in the review. This includes some shirts and even shorts for men. I just like some of the patterns on a well-designed set as it is simply fun to wear or see others wear. That's it--all else I felt were good but fell in between. As to jewelry? Most looks good to me when chosen for appearance or to match a set as opposed to just those who wear strange jewelry to be different or push an agenda etc. Mejuri I've heard of a few times but not that knowledgeable about them--what you highlighted looks nice though and so I'll peruse sites later.

I just got a bunch of bikini tops to wear for my outdoor gigs with my band. It gets hotter than Hades in Texas during the summer, and I've been threatening to do this for yrs. I'm hoping the tops will be better for the buckets of perspiration. May wear the bottoms under skirts and dresses as well.

I do not think black and white is a trend. I have worn black and white for YEARS! It IS and ALWAYS will be a classic look. I also see how much YOU like to wear it. Especially the bookend way. All white with a black belt and shoes and/or a purse, or all black with a couple of white accessories, like, say pearls and white bag. Some trends are just recycled, but with a modern twist. I would wear the rosettes in a shoe or in a hair accessory. They would just make me self conscious if it was on my blouse or neck or all over the dress. Too much! Bikini is meant for the beach. Where is the modesty and decorum. A bralette that is longline, probably is a bit more classy, because you are keeping your assets more covered. Can’t wear thong sandals, no support whatsoever. Ooh! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE STRIPES!!!! I have the green and white stripes for summer. Even an orange and white stripe. It’s so summery! Thanks Anna for the great video!! Happy Summer!!

Some people cannot or should not wear black and white. There are four seasons and two are cool and two are warm. The fashion universe plays to the cool seasons. I'm a pickleball player and I started wearing cute skorts, skirts and dresses I found to all my games and voila! Suddenly all the women are wearing 'em. Before they were all dressing like dudes. LOL. I'm gonna take credit for being a fashion icon of my local p-ball club.
